To be honest I actually love the Nu-Metal that WWE uses. I've got almost everyone they've used on my ipod. Introduced me to bands like Drowing Pool and Saliva.

I hate the last too songs for the ppvs. its not the type of music I listen to. I like the past bands theyve used. This music sucks.

;D But don't fault the E, they're just trying to keep it current so they can stay connected with the kids. They do a good job of this, I think. It doesn't confront me. What does, however, is how freaking hard they have to plug said PPV song when it's that time. I'd say twenty+ mentions per every two hour program. Seem excessive to anyone else?

Very excessive! All the children who acyually buy thia crap will hav edoen so already, adults are never gonna lower their standards that much. I used to be a big fan of metal, then it got castrated and emofied, and I lost interest in all this nu-metal crap. If they;re so miserable, why don't they end it, they won't be miserable anymore, and wer won't be subjected to it. Guess someone must like it though, or they'd have stopped years ago.

Wat could be better than the themes from late 80's early 90's. Yeas Everything. 2002- May 07 The Had good themes. Then it went downhill. Kat Deluna - Whine Up i could have made better on a rattle. The Hives & Kasabian i aint even gotta talk about it. Why not just kill it off with some My Chemical Romance so they can ruin that too.

Im not a fan of the Hives at all, so im not big on the Survivor Series theme. Never even heard of the band that did the Cyber Sunday theme honestly.
Like someone said earlier, I prefer the Drowning Pool's and Saliva's and that type. IMO it just works so much better for a PPV theme. It has a better connection to me.
I am dissapointed though that they dont seem to put as much emphasis on putting the theme of the PPV into a big video package for the main event anymore. I always loved those. Now when they do it, its just a quick part of the song, or they throw it on a match thats not the main event of the show.
Like, for example, the package for the Elmination Chamber at Survivor Series 2002 was awesome.

Like, for example, the package for the Elmination Chamber at Survivor Series 2002 was awesome. Yes it was. I'll admit I marked when the theme song for Wrestlemania 22 was "Big Time" by Peter Gabriel. Now just have a PPV theme be "The Final Countdown".

I loved that they used Kasabian for Cyber Sunday, and now they've got another European band in The Hives. They should carry it on with other UK bands trying to make it big.

I mean rock is cool and all ( i personally liked the metallica saint anger theme the best ) but damn a little variety is all im asking for. I mean i know wrestling is a super racist sport but damn even in music they show no love. theyre are plenty of hip hop tracks that wwe can use for their ppvs. the only hip hop songs they have ever used i remember it wasthe whine up and a fat joe theme but that wasnt even the main theme for ppv.

My personal favorites for themes were "Always" "Big Time" and "Ladies and Gentlemen". Though Highway to Hell is right behind.

WWE are racist? News to me, considering a black man was their world champion just last year.

But unlike POS3 or NHRA, that song is always associated with Wrestlemania to me.

Yes, the ECW title doesn't mean much, but he represented Trump at WrestleMania and he is on his way to being a main-eventer. When he returns from his injury, he'll be one of the biggest stars on Raw. Booker was always a consistent upper midcarder and main-eventer in WWE, and he held the title for about five or six months. Also, Carlito doesn't pick apples. He spits them in people's faces, which adds to his character. You're stretching for reasons with this - WWE are not racists.

I guess I'm just tickled wrestling had it first and everyone else followed suit.
