Seriously, with all the hooplah surrounding this weeks Smackdown, I certainly hope no one missed Jamie Noble beating Chuck Palumbo. That had to be my favorite moment of the night.

I marked out pretty huge. I've been a Jamie Noble fan since he first jumped from WCW and feuded with The Hurricane.

That was awesome. Went over him clean, maybe they're considering actually putting some support behind Noble. I could see him gettin' over in a mid-upper midcard level. Palumbo on the other hand I don't see him gettin' any more over than his is now. And he's lucky to have that spot. Wonder how much they have to pay to pipe in a crowd reaction like that. The place sounded pumped, but I only saw like 2 people cheering for Chucky P. Jamie "By God" Noble is the man!

I like Palumbo, but not nearly as much as I like Noble...
That said yes I marked out pretty well. Glad to see A Noble push even without the wc title

This recent spate of Noble matches has made him grow on me, and the fact that he went over the "American Loves-Ass" Chuck Palumbo makes him even more awesome.

No. Why should Noble win over a man twice his size? Isn't there only one "littlest big man" in the WWE? Defying the odds? Proving size doesn't mat...wrong promotion.
I dig Noble and think he's one of the only good things about Smackdown, but that make SO little sense.
Much like putting Mysterio in a match with Khali and expecting him to win.
WWE fantasy life > real life and that doesn't add up in my book.

I did. I was watching that match thinking this sucks. Noble is going to lose and get squashed for no reason yet again. Then surprised! I was happy. As noble is becoming one of my favorite wrestlers on smackdown.

Noble is supposed to be a super tough guy and pretty skilled technical wrestler (they even pointed that out in the match, that for as "dumb" as he is outside of the ring, that he's brilliant inside). Just cause WWE has conditioned people to think that guys who aren't 6' shouldn't be winning, doesn't mean it's true.

the important question is...
were there any awesome motorcycle puns during the match?

I was pleasantly surprised. Jamie's found his niche in the last couple months.

yea, it was pretty cool. Although I will admit I don't really care for Palumbo, the fact that I enjoyed that match and its outcome had nothing to do with him.

the important question is... were there any awesome motorcycle puns during the match? No, but JBL insinuated Palumbo was more mad that Noble was near his bike than near his woman.
