So what does every one think about this match. It works to get a match that doesn't need a long build up and people will be interested in. I think it would be better if the IC title was on the line, but that is just me. I hope they let Jeff go over in this. If they want to build him to the main event, this is their best chance since his ladder match with Taker. I like where they are taking it and hope the pay off is good

i agree...but the IC title shouldnt be on the line because im not sure if people want to see HHH as a IC title especially these days since he's a way over main eventer......let Jeff keep the title for half of 2008

Could be interesting. I'm not really a fan of either man, but I don't despise them either. If Hardy is going over Trips, then awesome, but if that were the case, why would it be non-title? Sad.

Why would Trips want to bother with the IC belt? Its probably a toy in his eyes.
Two outcomes, or right outcomes, will come from this match.
(1) Epic long match where HHH puts Hardy over, and make him equal on the main event stage, and be suitable down the line for a WWE title shot. This is most likely.
(2) Epic long match where HHH prevails, but Hardy is shown as equal to him and set up 2008 for the year when he breaks onto the main event scene, maybe summer 08.

And in one sentence, that sums up why the Intercontinental Title is so devalued these days. Maybe if WWE, HHH, Regal or whomever made it seem like it was important, people would get behind it. Remember, there was a time when Warrior put his IC title on the line against Hogan's World, and we all bought it. I miss those days.

So do I.....

Remember a couple of years ago with the Flair/HHH feud? Flair won the one title match they had, but when it was non-title, HHH won.

The IC Title really shouldn't be a factor in where they seem to want to go with the story, so they're right to make it non-title.

True, however I think they could give it more credability very quickly by putting it on the line and having Hardy go over.

Well, seeing as how the IC title is not on the line...i'm fairly certain HHH will win. It will probably be a hard fought win, w/ Jeff never giving up.

I think this match SHOULD be a classic, but I have a feeling there will be run-ins to ruin it.

I have very high hopes for this match and I really hope Trips doesn't just squash him.

Jeff Hardy turning heel? I know it's far fetched but I just don't see Triple H ever turning heel again. He doesn't want to.
