Aren't WWE booking themselves into a corner with this Tribute To The Troops show? As far as I'm aware, two titles will be affected by the live taping - the WWE and Women's. Both Orton and Jericho are in Iraq, so we'll know who wins at Armageddon when one of them comes out with the belt. And if Mickie doesn't come out wearing a belt, we'll know Beth will win.
Bear in mind this show goes out on Christmas Eve - maybe if they change their mind and either title changes hands, they could always wing it and say this show was taped before Armageddon.

I think it's assumed that storylines and the like are thrown out the window for the Iraq shows. It isn't about titles, it's about entertaining the troops who probably wouldn't be able to keep up like we do.

I've always understood it as being a WWE one-off "special" rather than a regular episode of Raw/SD/ECW, hence why storylines aren't affected once they get back to their regular programs. |

See Also: WCW Titles and TV Tapings and for those of us who didn't watch WCW....? Confusion abounds when you start doing things like that...however, I'm not sure how it all works out, since WCW were doing it often and months in advance, whereas WWE is usually better at planning things out. |
