Am I the only one who finds it kind of annoying when pre-name change stuff is referred to as "WWE"? I don't remember a "WWE Attitude Era". I remember a "WWF Attitude Era." I don't remember Steve Austin ever being WWE Champion. I remember him being a WWF Champion. Stuff like that. Maybe it's just me, but it really irks me.

It bothered me at first, but I got used it. They aren't allowed to use WWF anymore so all the stuff gets referred to as WWE. I don't think it is that big of a deal.

I don't mean when the company does it, I know they can't legally use WWF anymore, I mean when fans do it.

Hell I have trouble remembering to call ANYTHING WWE instead of WWF. I let the F part slip out all the time without even realizing it. To say WWE I have to be concentrating on reminding myself as I speak... I can't picture it being the other way around unless they're pretty new to wrestling.

Fans who refer to it are likely post WWE change or very young of age to remember or respect WWF.

I usually interchange 'em. Sometimes I say WWE sometimes I say WWF.

I refer to anything pre 2002 as WWF I'm just like that Me too. I also refer to old stuff as WWWF, but I'm not 100% sure when they dropped the other W, so I'm usually wrong. ;D

All of you that still call it "WWF" need to get the F out!
Yeah, I do it too. I just always loved the marketing when they did change over and that was their slogan, very creative and funny.

I do the whole pre-2002 is WWF thing. Calling it WWE bugs me not just because I'm used to WWF, but because the World Wrestling Entertainment makes no sense as a name to me. It made sense when people would say, "I will be champion here in the WWF!" A Federation is a place you can be and a thing you can be a part of, but an Entertainment doesn't seem to work the same way.
