I don't know if anyone else caught this or not, but I'm pretty damn buzzed and I managed to see it.
So at the tail end of the Edge vs. Kane match, the Undertaker "GONG" plays and the lights go black. Well, if you pay attention, Edge is wearing his black tights before the lights go out.
When the lights come back on, the Undertaker has Edge by the throat. The problem is, Edge is wearing completely different pants, and it's like the footage is in slow motion. They spliced the footage from last week into this week's Smackdown.
I get that something weird probably happened to the finish, but it still struck me as odd.

Ah seems they didn't have good footage of Undertaker holding his throat because big dave charged too quickly.

Damn, somebody in editting really phoned that one in, apparently. Minor to most home viewers, I'm guessing, but that's a pretty major screw-up if you're job is production.

i noticed that as well. i dunno whether this was just the repeat in britain, but the editing was all over the place this week. firstly, after the noble/pulambo match they cut it when cole and JBL were right in the middle of a sentence. then in the burketista match, batista makes his entrance, then we cut to halfway through burke's music, and he's already walking down to the ring. then finally we had edge's technicolour dream tights.

Could be worse..they could have tried to spliced in some footage from 1999 when the Brood was kicked out of the Ministry.

Then Batista should've said "Zoinks!" and pedaled his legs like a bicycle, speeding away with a smoky trail behind him. My childhood was well spent. Ah, the memories. |
