if you choose a boring show or basketball over wrestling, you're not a real wrestling fan. I've chosen most things over WWE almost unanimously over the last year due to them putting on mostly boring shows. Though I guess, I can still consider myself a wrestling fan because that's not wrestling, it's sports entertainment.

A couple days late on this but I didn't see a thread and thought it was necessary. A true original and legend in the world of jazz, he took improvisation to new levels in the late 50s and early 60s with some really groundbreaking, mindbending and creative recordings that was incredibly influential for the avant-garde flavour of jazz. The Shape of Jazz To Come, This Is Our Music, Change of the Century and Free Jazz are strange, daring and fresh sounding in 2015, I can only imagine how insane this shit was back in the day. This stuff completely blew my mind the first time I heard it and, while I certainly understand it going under the radar happening the same day as Dusty and Christopher Lee, this guy is one of my heroes so I didn't want it to go completely forgotten.

It would've been nice to see warrior serve some HARD TIME! Or at the very least inadvertently eating a pet or having the funeral of a loved one ruined. They really blew a chance for some great Warrior promos and some big money.

I don't know who's the best but I always have fun listening to Kevin Nash's interviews. His humor and opinion on certain situations is something to take note of. "It's amazing how the titles keep coming when you got the pencil for half your career."

Rock/HBK was the attitude era dream match we never got for some reason. Primarily because Shawn was not wrestling when The Rock was a big Attitude Era star. When Shawn returned at SummerSlam 2002, this was the same night that The Rock's last match as a regular, active wrestler, though of course Rock came back for WrestleMania season in 2003 and 2004. Reportedly, WWE did try to book the match in 2003, supposedly The Rock nixed the idea. Yeah, by most accounts The Rock really didn't like Shawn Michaels. Supposedly he and HHH were absolutely brutal to him backstage during his early time with the company. I'd assume it was probably just water under the bridge with Hunter, due to the mutual respect that would come with the awesome matches the two would have against each other throughout the Attitude era but he definitely still had a lot of bad blood with Shawn.

Zack Ryder steals the European championship from a trashcan. He's immediately confronted by Vince and Triple H telling him to throw it back out and get the coffees like he was supposed to.

Cue ...to be followed by And I'm out. Oh man, if Cena turned heel with a t-shirt reveal, it would get over. If it happened after he'd done the classic where you go to hit the heel with a chair only to rotate slightly and hit the face instead, it would get ratings (bro).

People think Basketball is more popular today then in Jordan's era? I took that to mean that the 90s era of basketball is generally still more popular and talked about than the current era.

There is so much you could trash or mock Russo for, but to me the funniest may be that he actually thinks that people dislike him because of the heel character he played for a couple months 15 years ago. Which was a f***ing genius gimmick bro. Here's the thing, bro, that always gets me and that all of these so-called smart internet wrestling marks on the internet never seem to be able to understand is that they don't know when they're being worked. Here's the thing, this business is about television and television is. all. about. ratings. And I swear on my children's grave, if someone flips past a wrestling show and sees Rey Mysterio, Psychosis, Ultimo Dragon or Juvi having a great, exciting match with incredible spots because they don't want to see it. They know this business is a work. You're watching TV, what are you more likely to watch? A Mexican guy and a Japanese guy flipping around or Vince Russo, this piece of shit writer from up North who's coming in and booking himself to pin Ric Flair, call Hulk Hogan a bald piece of shit in the middle of the ring and win the World title? I know what my choice is. {Spoiler} SWERVE! It's the first one! But Turner brass wanted worked shoots and David Arquette instead!

Vader delivered a chop to Tony Schiavone after the main event of Beach Blast 93. No explanation was given for this action. Is one needed?

That may be the worst time in WCW. I usually would say it was the spring/summer/fall of 1999, but at least then we had guys like Raven, the future Radicalz, The Jersey Triad, etc. Which is why as much as I've grown to dislike Russo, I can't blame him for killing WCW. It was awful when he got there and as hard as it is to believe, got worse after they sent him home. There's a late-January early-February Thunder where David Flair and Arn Anderson double-turn face/heel allignments three times within the span of two hours. This was a pretty regular occurrence on Thunder in 1999, with many members of the roster. They loved shooting a big angle only to either make it meaningless by the end of the show or just pretend that it didn't happen on the next Nitro. That was how you knew you were watching Thunder. Well, that and the hilarity of losers like Horace Hogan and Van Hammer cutting promos by just yelling into the camera incomprehensibly under their loud entrance music. I didn't care how terrible it was, Thunder was my jam back in the day.

Fortunately for him, he's yet to be attacked by any of his friends so far this year, so that's a massive improvement. Didn't the nWo come to his aid? It's like 2015 is Bizarro year for Sting. Even crazier, Hall and Nash had to first turn on HHH. So not only is 2015 the first year in history where no one turns on Sting, it's also the first where someone turns on the guy feuding with Sting . I imagine that's more exciting for him than any title win, feud or match he had in his career.

Since his debut, so far, 2015 is the only year Sting has not won a match. Fortunately for him, he's yet to be attacked by any of his friends so far this year, so that's a massive improvement.

"Will somebody stop the damn match" is one of the greatest calls ever in wrestling. "He's fighting back! He's fighting back! They're right above us, folks, and I don't like it a damn bit!
