Her, and Statlander, I’m not digging the all black thing they got going.
It feels like they lost a lot of personality without all the wacky colors.
In fact, it felt like Toni and the bunny were wearing the wrong gear. The bunny just looked like regular Allie from impact, and Toni looked very generic.

Ace of Base is most remembered for “the sign”, but I clearly remember at least two other hit songs
All that she wants Don’t turn around

At the same time, and maybe it's just me, AEW has so much talent I DON'T notice when people are gone too much, and then when they return it's like "OH SHIT". I give AEW a lot of credit for giving me a lot of people to care about so some guys and gals can kinda wait for their time or rest an injury or something There’s a lot of guys when I’m like “oh yeah, I forgot about him” whenever they reappear. I swear, everytime I see PAC or Andrade, im like “man when’s the last I saw that guy wrestle?” And it turns out, it was like a month ago.

The show moves so fast and they pack so much in, that being off tv a week or two feels like a month or two.
I’m like
What happened to Deeb and Shida again? I remember shida came back one day and did a run in with a kendo stick. I think there was a video package where deeb started yelling. Was that Friday? Where’s Jay white? Where’s Eddie Kingston? Wait, He was on tv two weeks ago.

To be honest, I'm not sure lie detector tests have much of a reputation to damage. I don't know, it's not quite as outrageous as Springer or whatever, but I do still suspect a lot of it has been embellished even if they aren't outright hiring actors like Springer used to. Then again, I thought that about bits of Jeremy Kyle and look how that ended up...
It having to be real doesn't prevent the producers from telling the guests to amp up their behavior for ratings. It's very common. The crazier the guests get, the more attention on social media and views on Youtube they get. Word of mouth's a great marketing tactic. Someone who worked on Springer did an AMA years back, she said about 40% or so of that show was real. The rest was scripted. A lot of the shock talk shows shied away from real stories after a Jenny Jones guest was murdered post-appearance in 1995. Considering how expensive a DNA test is, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re voluntarily hamming it up so they don’t cut from the show by the producers

I did find it odd that whenever they did a rebellious teen episode, they’re like
Teen: I want to be a stripper/porn star Audience: boo!
But they’d have “revenge on bullies” episode of people who grew up after a crappy high school experience and they’re like
Guest: I’m a stripper/pork star now Audience: yay!

I’m sure all these kids of ratchet mothers and dads who want nothing to do with either of them turned out really well over the past three decades The show was on for so long that the kids came back as new parents on the show haha

Until someone else described it as such
I remember watching wwe.com show and they were asking them personal questions and one of them was “favorite classic tv show” and Dolph Ziegler said arrested development. This was in 2011. I’m like “a show that ended in 2005 is classic sitcom?”
Even now in 2022, it feels weird describe any show that came out after 2001 as old since most of those shows came out at the start of hdtv broadcasting so it always looks so modern and the casts of most of those shows are still working
I remember going on YouTube in 2014 and kids describing music from 2007 as old school and “they don’t make music like this anymore” haha

After watching, this show grew on me. While I like 10 episode seasons of dramas and adventure that get right to the point, I hope that season two has a more standard length season since they’re going by week to schedule like a regular tv network. Also… I was pleasantly surprised but confused by {Spoiler} the captain reappearing But man I was smiling when {Spoiler} robin scherbatsky was at the bar The one good thing about a spin-off/sequel series is that they’d hopefully correct some of the mistakes of the previous show

So I finished Student bodies and nearing the end of hang time and city guys.
I like how City guys never messed with their cast.
Enjoy watching the surprisingly fair amount of student body reunion interviews. Weird how Grace left the show halfway through season 2. Yet she’s always in the reunions but the one who replaced her isn’t.
Kind of jarring seeing the switch from coach miller to Katowinski. I remember watching but I was still confused where one season ends where he’s thinking about leaving and it ends with “no, I’m staying” and the next season starts with “he left”.
Tried watching USA High and Malibu Ca again.
Even as a kid, there was something weird about these non TNbc Peter Engel shows.
The actors are better looking but all noticeably older, and somehow worse actors. That and writing is cheesier and the sets are cheaper.
I gotta say, between all these shows, animaniacs, and I started watching that show Saturday Morning All Star Hits, it’s actually way to spend a weekend morning in bed.
Oddly enough, saved by the bell (Peacock) feels more appropriate to watch at night.
All of these shows are still missing some episodes, except for student bodies and California dreams, so I hope they end up on peacock on day so I can watch the missing episodes.

It also feel like he got Mike to help him with this instead of Screenwave which seem like the biggest complaint that people had with the newer episode. I did see mikes name at the end credits

I know I’m not alone judging by the comments on Twitter, and trust me when I say Jericho is in my top 2 of all time, but isn’t this new gimmick what Matt Cardona’s been doing on the indies for the last two years? He's been using a version of it yes, but even before Cardona it was Mike Bennett's gimmick back in ROH, and Pepper Parks and Cherry Bomb (Blade and Bunny) used the gimmick on the indies as well Tomasso ciampa is mr sports entertainment in my heart

If Jericho is mr. Sports entertainment, wouldn’t he give them even stupider names?
Also, I wouldn’t be bringing up Jan 6th Jericho considering what we know of his wife

Quite the opposite of Adam page, I was quite surprised to hear this guy speak and his voice is surprisingly youthful. If you told me it was some 20 year old college kid from Canada talking, I’d believe you
I’m pretty sure he’s older than Jericho since I’ve read his name in Jericho and foleys books

Do you guys have stuff that’s not an American company?
Outside of the Brit box, I only hear talk of Netflix or Disney plus from non Americans. Or I guess new Japan world but that’s specifically for pro wrestling.
I don’t know much about your programming but is there like a Canadian equivalent of Hulu or something or Mexican peacock? But with all your native programming?
Considering the way American tv is going in favor of streaming, I couldn’t possibly seeing the entire world just relying on the same 5 streaming channels if you guys are just getting stuff from American companies. Unless you guys are still doing physical media or something.

And coupons?
I have to say, the McDonald’s app has come in handy a number of times. I got. When they had that $1 Big Mac special every day for a month a coupe years ago until someone realized it just have been to low and they changed to $2 after a week. The $1 large fries, or free cheeseburger after 1500 points has helped me many a time. The buy one Big Mac or quarter pounder, get one free is cheaper than their 2 for $6 special.
I use the subway app recently when I lost the paper coupons and found the online coupon code and realized I could re use the coupon all month.
Jack in the box, where the tacos were still 2 for $1

But it's also weird because 3 years in its quite clear Orange Cassidy can be super motivated when he needs to, and also that he does a lot of his slacker stuff as mind games with his opponents. Basically, I think of him as AEW's Columbo. AEW’s Columbo is both a bizarre comparison and honestly, the most apt. 2020 should have brought us Wrestling’s Monk à la Tony Shalhoub

Maybe. He was similarly disdainful of Orange Cassidy. Khan had to talk to him about it. It’s getting distracting. Danhausen is no more or less stupid on a surface level than whatever the hell Undertaker/Kane were doing in the late 90's, and JR had no problem putting THAt over. Couldn't imagine it had anything to do with Vince making it abundantly clear. As for OC, I really don't get JR's bitch about the guy. His whole gimmick is that he plays possum and is the ultimate trickster who wants to get you on the offense so he can counter it. I can see people hate it the same reason why people love it. He’s a lazy unmotivated slacker who’s secretly super talented and doesn’t more than he needs to and the moment anyone calls him out or underestimates him, he shows you up with how good he really is. He is the stereotypical lazy teenage gen x/millennial.
