I think pretty much everything Chavo said is correct.
I've been just as sick of Cena's in-ring routine as I have been of his character for a good while now. Just about every match he's in is the damn same. He get's his ass kicked for 95% of it, out of nowhere, without any reason or logic, starts hitting his signature move routine and wins.
Put some variety in, do SOMETHING different here and there.
He's using the Hogan example because Hogan did the same exact thing for so long, the fans turned on him and pretty much forced WCW to make the Hollywood turn. Personally, with Cena working on TV and PPV so much more then Hogan at that time, I think Cena has been at that point for a while now already and no one seems to be willing to do anything about it because he sells merch to the kiddies, who eventually will grow up and be bored with him, just like the previous generation did with Hogan.
Sure most of it is probably WWE booking and wanting that style out of him, but I'm sure at this point he has enough pull to say it's time to switch something up in his matches if he wanted to without being shipped off to Superstars.
Eddie and Chavo were a huge part of Cena's evolution in WWE back in 2003 and I can't dispute him on that. Cena really started to move up to another level when he started working with the likes of Eddie, Chavo, and Kurt Angle during that time period. By early 2004, you could tell how much better he was compared to what he was at the beginning of 2003.
But personally, I think Chavo is completely right about everything he's saying. Whether he's just looking for attention or attempting to be a voice of reason that no one within the company is willing to provide, I don't know. But I have no problem with him saying it, because I feel that it's true.
Cena has become good in the ring over the years, but his routine is tired and boring. He could be so much more. Despite those chants of the past, he CAN wrestle. I just wish they'd let him.

Give him his trenchcoat, and he's almost a dead ringer for Judge Doom. They need to go all the way with this. Put Santino in a white bunny suit with red overalls, dress up Hornswoggle like an infant, dye Eve's hair red and give her a pink sequined dress, and (if he doesn't get "fired") have Cena be Eddie Valiant and we're good to go. Any and all remaining New Nexus members can be the weasels.

Seattle needs to trade Felix....to us.
We should just make some kind of agreement that each year if they are out of it by the deadline, they just send us their ace. It worked nicely last year with Cliff Lee, let's just keep the fun going. Us non-California AL West teams gotta stick together, or something!
Maybe if we rough Felix up tonight, Seattle will bow to our demands!
I'm willing to give the Mariners a big ol' chunk of Taylor Teagarden! If that doesn't entice them, I don't know what would!

I saw it as "WWE Holding NYC Adult" and my mind went somewhere else entirely..... Me too. I thought Vince finally figured out that the only way for WWE Films to be a success was to go to porn!

That makes absolutely no sense and is one of the worst ideas I've ever heard. Teixeira and A-Rod haven't played those positions in AGES. Especially A-Rod at Short. I think he's been a third baseman longer than shortstop now. Besides with his hips and legs the way they are, moving A-Rod to shortstop is really stupid. If anything you'd want to move him to a less intense position. And Jeter's still a perfectly fine shortstop. In a high-profile trade because the Rangers didn't want to continue paying his huge contract they signed him for? No, more for the promises he made that he had no intention of ever keeping and bad mouthing his fellow infielders for not being up to par with him (including his now once again teammate Mark Teixeira).

It looks like the Rangers are preparing for something.
Today they have released both Seth McClung and Manny Delcarmen from their minor league deals and placed Scott Feldman on waivers in an effort to get him off the 40 man roster.
Also in (hopefully) related news, Heath Bell was on ESPN Radio in Dallas today talking about last nights All-Star Game.

If I'm the Yankees and I get Prince Fielder, I'd move Mark Teixiera back to 3rd, where he played in college and early in his Rangers career. Then move A-Rod back to SS, let Prince play 1st and tell Jeter, hey you got your 3,000th hit, so f*** off.
I would say try him in a Michael Young ultra utility role and switch between DH, and backing up the infield spots. But Jeter would probably throw a bitch fit and it's not worth the s*** for a player who's not worth it at this point IMO.
I f***ing detest A-Rod after the way he left Texas, but Jeter should have stepped aside when they got A-Rod, because he was a far superior SS, despite all those bullshit gold gloves Jeter has.

I could see the Rangers pursuing one of the 1st basemen in the offseason.
Mitch Moreland has come along very well, but he can also play in the outfield, so he's not 100% locked in and stuck as a 1st baseman.
While our main concern should be re-signing CJ Wilson, with f***tards like Tom Hicks no longer around, I actually feel like we can get something done with him pretty quickly, possibly during the season.

Win 2 games and you've already won more NFL games then your mentor/coach/whatever. f*** you Chris Weinke. Stay away from our players!

Eugene.
At least he was a good wrestler and could actually work a match.
Hornswoggle not only has stayed past his expiration date by about 4 years, but he also has no real purpose. There's no juniors division anymore, so there's no one he can really work with. Put him in the ring with someone else and it makes them look stupid. So instead he gets force feed to us in "comedy" segments. He doesn't manage anyone, he's not anyone's "little buddy" to run around with. He just pops up here and there for a "laugh".
Anytime Hornswoggle is on my screen, I run to do something else or change the channel until he's done.
He's the definition of useless in my book.

I think things started out pretty well, and I think they were on a good path (before the RVD/Sabu incident railroaded everything). But I think the main thing wrong with the brand, which not many really talk about now, was doing the show along with SmackDown, in front of the SmackDown audience.
In the pre-PG era, SmackDown always tended to be the show that's audience tended to be younger and had more families, etc watching. So taping a show that was supposed to be "hardcore" along with SmackDown didn't do it any favors. Not to mention watching all the younger fans sit on their hands while all the ECW originals came out because they had absolutely no idea who they were.
While I understand setting up another taping and another venue for a 3rd show would have been a strain, ECW needed it to thrive.
I attended one of the ECW only house shows that they were running for the first few months of it's rebirth and it was fantastic. They were running smaller venues, all the fans there were actually there to see ECW, and it felt like it. I really feel like if they had ECW on Sci Fi filmed out on it's own, that it would have looked and felt so much better.

All Matt Harrison needed today was an Adrian Beltre 2-run HR for the Rangers 7th straight win.
In a humorous note, the announcers today were talking about how Oakland thought bringing in Hideki Matsui and Josh Willingham was going to help their offensive woes.
BAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
You'd think after what seems like 4 decades of having great pitching but no offense, the A's would figure this little puzzle out. Apparently it's just baffling to them.

Alexi Ogando is officially an All-Star. Not bad for a guy who wasn't even supposed to be in the starting rotation.
