Gods, if they're gonna do long taped segments in the back, they've got to either do it when matches aren't going on out front or figure out their micing issues. This shit is annoying.

Clash at the Castle sim was pretty damn good. Lashley / Cody and Drew / Roman in particular were insane. *Bell rings* *Priest immediately waffles the ref from behind* Howling.

As long as all of this happens on Newj TV so I don't have to watch it. The sooner he's back there, the better.

Kinda think it's bullshit that former tag team champions are not in the game, honestly. Doubly bullshit if the plan is to milk out more money from consumers by having wrestlers who have been with the company for three years be PAID downloadable content. Think of it like this. One of the things I counter with whenever people would complain about the price of Fire Pro World's DLC being so expensive is to look at the timeline. Fire Pro released in 2017. If you paid for all of the DLC full price, the game costs about $200, Now that's if you bought everything at have value, not buying bundles or buying the game when it's in sale, which happens often. In the same time that Fire Pro was out and was being actively supported, WWE released 4 baseline games, 18,19,20, and 22. Combined, the total MSRP amount of all of the DLC for those 4 games was over double the price of Fire Pro. Granted, both series cater to different audiences and offer different experiences in varying degrees, but if given the choice, I feel like the best path to take is to support a solid game engine with DLC and updates, paid or free, than trying to reinvent the wheel every year and making customers pony up the cash (which, granted, they do anyways, so more power to them) by cutting the life cycle of the previous game short. Bottom line, as long as the core engine of Fight Forever is fun and engaging, I have no problem with paid DLC as long as it's an investment in the future, and not a soulless yearly money grab.

Like I said in my previous post, my understanding is that FF is somewhat of a long term project, kind of like how Fire Pro kept adding DLC Like the Stardom packs, Move Craft, and Parts Craft after the initial announced releases. I doubt it's going to be a yearly release, instead adding wrestlers (and possibly features) to the initial 50 person roster. So I wouldn't be a bit surprised if we saw FTR in a DLC pack. I wish they were in the base game, but I'm not losing hope yet that they won't be in there.

With the Vince biopic back on at Netflix, it sounds like they have a shoo in as their leading man.

The new footage definitely looks a lot better then what they've previously shown. No shareable creations does kinda suck but if the CAW system is more like DoR as opposed to the 2k series it might not be that much of an issue. Still waiting for more info on the creation side and career mode but it's looking like a pretty good first outing now. I was initially bummed about no CC, but it didn't occur to me until just yesterday that if the CAW system is similar to No Mercy, then the lack of shareability might not be the worse thing. I had a blast challenging myself to create a wrestler as close to a real life look with the tools and materials provided by the game. It wasn't perfect (thanks, lack of masks), but it still felt better than having to spend hours tweaking looks and trying to get things to look just right within the still broken system of 2K. Hell, as advanced as the facial structure system is in 2K games, it's always a pain when you just want an original wrestler who's face isn't the default (as an aside, I wish there was some way to randomize facial features in 2K22). Now, I don't know how well it'll go over now when gamers expect to be able to download a wrestler immediately, but it's not the downfall of the game that it could be. Hell, because they're committed to supporting this game for a while, the hope is still there that a CC feature could be added down the road. Hopefully, the game on Switch will be stable enough to work well, a good wrestling game on Switch (outside of Wrestling Empire) is sorely needed.

It's going to take some insane "The Producers" style shenanigans for this to end up making them money off of everything that's happened. Which, considering they're letting an incredibly disturbed person skate just so they can release it, and they're the type of company now who would try to pull a scheme like Bialystock and Bloom did, I wouldn't put it past WB Discovery.

All allocated floor seats sold now, just general allocation floor seats and bleachers left. The cool thing about the show being there is, depending on what Impact does with the setup, it's likely there won't be a bad seat in the house, even in the bleachers. The armory isn't that gigantic, I've seen 2 wrestling shows there so far, and I had a good view of three actual each time.

Scherr's problem isn't that he's stupid--and he's really stupid--but that he has no idea how stupid he is. His biggest problem is that he's CONFIDENTLY stupid. He's so sure of himself and his reality that every idiotic thing he says is 100% right in his mind, and this gives him shielding from anyone pointing out how dumb what he said is. He's, ah, had good inspirations for that kind of detachment from reality.

I think my favourite stupid game AI thing was the one year that the AI would only ever kick out at 1 or get pinned, so if you knew about it and you got a 2 count, you already knew you'd won. Oh God yeah I can't remember which year it was but it killed that game stone dead for me. It was WWE 13. The true shame is that the game was actually good, but the glitch broke any kind of immersion in it, and ultimately pulled it down. I don't even remember if it got patched or not. Also, was this the glitch where Aubrey Stitterson went off as Community Manager saying that people obviously weren't playing the game right to downplay the glitch? Or was that a different one in the myriad of issues these series have had.

Every update on Discovery reminds me of the early stretch of 30 Rock when NBC was owned by Sheinhardt Wigs.

It might as well be destroyed then.
Art is pretty much dead in this country, probably in the world. I'm so tired of this, especially when the only guy who seems to get away with something like this is Zack f***ing Snyder.

Fall out of one interim champion situation, walk right into another with Thunder Rosa. Cody Rhodes has done more damage to this company that he's done good for it.
