Shawn Michaels is my favorite wrestler of all time and I think it would be match of the night with an outside shot at match of the year but I don't want Shawn to come out of retirement. He had an awesome goodbye. No more.

Ehh, I liked it. But not as strongly as some did. I was enjoying it up until the chair stuff. I just don't get the logic behind NOT going for a cover after many chair shots and yelling out, STAY DOWN!!! I don't get it. It bugged me. The match got me back with Triple H's tombstone because I legit thought it was over. But, though I liked the match, I don't get all the praise it's getting. This IS the psychology of the match. Triple H is torn if he wants to actually end the streak that way. With vicious chair shots and things that wouldn't hold him in high regard. He's playing off HBK and how he had two 5 star matches with the Undertaker, his ego wants to match up to that... so he's in the corner first not believing this is what it takes to put Taker down, and second if he wants to actually win in that fashion. When that doesn't work..his last resort is a despicable tactic that's associated with him, which is bashing Taker with a sledgehammer. But he made his promise that he would win and it fits in Triple H's character that his ego is larger than his moral standing about all his accomplishments. He gets careless against the BETTER MAN, and is locked in hell's gate. He tapped because that was a sign of respect to Mark Calloway. Passing out and doing the arm count would have worked in the setting of the storyline, sure. But this was Paul Levesque thanking Mark on the grandest stage of them all. He was showing he was beaten and acknowledged it instead of having a "I didn't quit" excuse which is a 'backdoor' to rematches. I know I don't have to say this but it so rarely happens that I feel I should point it out. Well said. You've changed my opinion. I still don't think that this is a legendary match or anything like that but I am more fond of the match now.

He's a patient man. Cody's time will come. Same for Ted. Same for Manu. Funny thing is, Ted wasn't even there. Yeah, he was. It was before he got punted. Therefore, Ted will get his.

- Cody Rhodes being awesome AND going over - Rock and Austin being on my TV, live, at the same time - Orton/Punk - JR on commentary - Undertaker/Triple H up until the chair shot/no pin attempt/"STAY DOWN!" sequence - Triple H tombstoning Taker. First time I actually thought the streak is over in 13 years - Trish Stratus looking incredible - Miz's hype video - Rock screwing Cena
