So apparently Disney is developing a sequel to the 2003 version of Freaky Friday with Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan returning.
I'm not really a fan of the movie, but this gives me the chance to share my pitch for a Freaky Friday sequel - Crisis on Infinite Freaky Fridays. From across the multiverse Doctor Strange pulls Jodie Foster, Gaby Hoffman, Lindsay Lohan and Cozi Zuehlsdorff together to do battle against Vince Vaughn's character from Freaky. Much body swapping commences.

Alright guys and girls, I really really hate starting a thread like this but I don't know where else to turn. I'm hoping somebody might have some insight or information.
I'm looking to get rid of my current car. It's a twenty year old barely functional piece of crap, but apparently my building super is interesting in buying it and fixing it up to be a starter car for his younger brother at college. More power to him. It was originally my Father's car (bought it around 2002) and gifted it to me a few years back. The problem is I have no idea what I did with the car's original title. So I mailed in the forms to the DMV to send me a duplicate title. It arrived today but it still lists a lien holder on it, the original financing company my Dad used to buy the car back in 2002. This makes no sense to me since I know this car was paid off like nearly twenty years ago, and I know we had to present the proof of this when we transferred the title from his name to mine back in 2015 (another document I have no idea what happened to). But with the lien listed on the title and the proof of payment MIA I can't really sell it to my Super.
Now I tried to contact the financing company, but there wasn't really much they could do for me since this was more then twenty years ago and they dealt with my Father, not me. I'm going to try to contact the DMV tomorrow, but it's the DMV so I'm not expecting a quick, easy and painless response. I'm just curious if anybody else might have any other ideas or insights? Something else I can try to get this resolved?

If they're really doing this then get Dolph Lundgren in there. You know he'd be down for it.

41. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022) 42. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023) 43. Jurassic Park Dominion (2022)Latest arrival from Netflix. There really should be a colon in that title. Why isn't there a colon in that title? Talk about a franchise that just has nothing left to offer. The first Jurassic World movie was a cool little tribute to the old Jurassic Park movies, but it just did not have the legs for this kind of revival. This feels like the studio took a bunch of random, generic action movie scripts they had lying around, the kind they bought for like six for a dollar, shuffled them up, and handed it to someone and told him to add some dinosaurs and make it a Jurassic World movie. Just an unnecessarily convoluted plot with forgettable characters in generic action scenes that the dinosaurs feel incidental to more often then not.

I don’t think I’ve ever been to a major concert that handed out free water other then the drinking fountain. Yeah, I've never really done the concert thing, but I've been to wrestling show, sporting events, conventions, Punkin Chunkin, etc. and never once have I seen any of them give out free water. Hell, last ROH show I went to at the Manhattan Center charged me $6 for a water.

One of Gunn’s farewell GotG tweets mentioned how much he loved working with Pom Klementieff and how she should be in more projects so I wouldn’t be surprised to see her show up somewhere in the new DCverse eirher. He should cast her as Willow and see who gets the reference.

My main problem with the original Main Event Mafia angle was the longer it went, the less it became about the young blood talent trying to dethrone the entitled old guard and more about "will the Main Event Mafia self-destruct this week due to in-fighting"? The Bloodline is crumbling! The main difference though is that the Bloodline is only designed to get one guy over, Roman Reigns, and the WWE has never made any insinuation that it was meant for anything else. At least you know what you're in for if you're following it. The Main Event Mafia was genuinely sold as a torch passing to the next generation of talent, but that just never happened.

I Can't agree with these guys that these shows are any good... especially Booker T at his most I'm here for a vacation mode... I mean they're not completely awful... but they're not really good. But my stance has always been even if TNA's match quality was good their storylines were almost universally terrible... and this impact was basically nothing but STorylines... I mean at least Russo learned that the millionaire's club should have been heels... but it runs into the problem that the "new blood" arguing for spots and stuff on camera really just come off as whiny bitches... cause Russo with his worked shooty nonsense. My main problem with the original Main Event Mafia angle was the longer it went, the less it became about the young blood talent trying to dethrone the entitled old guard and more about "will the Main Event Mafia self-destruct this week due to in-fighting"? An angle seemingly designed to get over the next generation of talent did nothing of the sort, and the struggles of guys like AJ and Joe just became inconsequential against Sting and Kurt Angle's squabblings.

Thanks for all the responses! Keep 'em coming. 🙏 My interest LVL is 150 % as of this moment. What would you say is so bad it's great angles? There MUST be tons of 'em! Survivor Series teams must be wacky as hell. Totally expect 'em to outdeliver ones what we get these days. 😋 ' can't wait to print bunch of cool retro WWF posters on my wall whenever the project is all finished. ' will watch events in order... I've thought about doing this again... specifically 1987. While it's an irrelevant blip on the radar today, I've always been intrigued by that brief(3 weeks?) period where they tease a potential Kamala vs Bundy match/feud. They would walk by each other on the way to the ring and have a stare down. This was dropped with no mention of it ever occuring. I'd like to see this again and see if I missed something. I always had a theory that with Andre turning heel, the WWF thought having two giants in the Heenan Family was too much and were trying to use this angle with Kamala to turn Bundy face. Then they quickly abandoned it because they didn't think it was working.

I'm a little confused by this thread because a good chunk of the shows listed are airing on digital sub channels In the US. I do think a lot of people in the thread are a bit too liberal in their take on the topic. I took it as shows that, after their original run ended, were almost immediately forgotten about. But then shows like Dukes of Hazzard come up, which, while it can be difficult to find nowadays because of various degrees of values dissonance, was a staple in television reruns for like twenty years after its original run ended. I refuse to believe that there are old-school ECW fans on these boards who didn't watch an episode or two on TNN back in the day. And people are also mentioning shows like Lost and ER, which are difficult to rerun because of their formats, but you can't tell me they haven't made a big pop cultural impact that still is relevant today. In the end though it's probably all open to interpretation.

I would love to see a Dino Bravo-style side slam become a thing again.

There's also doing multiple whole episodes around Impact, they just don't have the content. In the past they'd do a PPV and the followup would be a shorter segment at the end, now they need to throw in a lot of padding. I don't understand why they need in the first place. I could understand it for like the "Warrior in WCW" arc, where he was only on two PPV's, but the Main Event Mafia was around for about a year and was a staple on almost every TNA PPV during that time. That's like twelve episode right there. Why do they need to pad that out with random Impacts?

I don't think we've seen an abdominal stretch with grabbing rope for extra leverage in a long time. Honestly, I was hoping this would be how Cody beat Brock at Backlash.

New Green Lantern is out, but I wish they'd do something fresh with Hal {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Carol Ferris is engaged to a new man...again. She rehires Hal as a pilot for the millionth time and understands fully she's probably falling in love with him. Again. Hal screws up and crashes a jet drone. Again. They ran out of fresh things to do with Hal in 1988. That's the reason they made him a villain.

Maybe these are on syndication somewhere, but I never hear anything about: Dharma & Greg Suddenly Susan Mad About You Grace Under Fire (the hell happened to Brett Butler?) Just Shoot Me! I was gonna mention Mad About You, but since it got a revival season a few years back I figured it had to be getting some traction somewhere. Then again, the already discussed Murphy Brown also got a revival season. As for Brett Butler, she was battling massive substance addiction problems throughout the run of Grace Under Fire. Her erratic behavior caused several production delays, both Julie White and John Paul Steuer to leave the show (the kid got one hell of a send off), and eventually the shows cancellation. She was persona non grata for awhile around Hollywood, but she claims to be drug free since 1998 and has since taken sporadic acting roles. That said, she still comes off kinda flaky at times, going back and forth on accusations about whether she was ever homeless, and at one point claiming she had psychic abilities.

It gets a fair shake on MeTV and the like, but Happy Days otherwise hasn't had it easy. Not complete on DVD nor streaming, IIRC. I don't know, where I grew up it was a staple in syndicated reruns on local television throughout the 90's and 2000's. Although only the first seven seasons. The later stuff, after Ron Howard left the show and the focus shifted to Joannie and Chachi, was almost never re-aired. The show would basically go to the point where Arnold's would burn down and then loop back to season one.

Empty Nest was never a huge hit, but The Golden Girls spin-off was popular enough to go seven seasons and 170 episodes. You'd think a relatively family-friendly show with that kind of catalogue would at least be filler on some streaming service or novelty cable channel somewhere, but no, it's no where to be found beyond YouTube rips.

I loved it as a stand-alone film, and as part of the larger MCU, but it will always bug me that: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Peter & Gamora's romance seems to have just fallen wayside, I compare it to a storyline that doesn't get over and gets changed before it has a definite conclusion. I'm surprised no one is going nuts over: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}GROOT: "I Love You Guys"
I did a double-take, and then I expected him to say something about family. I'm now convinced that Groot is a variant of Vin Diesel or vice versa. Yeah, that made me cry. And as for James Gunn: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}The fact that he brought Suicide Squad/Peacemaker actors into this (Chukwudi Iwuji & Jennifer Holland)
I guess this evens the scales for now after Pom Klementieff in TSS but then again...
Gunn has also claimed that the actual EAGLY was the eagle in High Evo's cage. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} The first one is probably just a sad byproduct of one actor being done with the MCU and the other not. If they get her to come back as a surprise at the end of Quill’s story they can still pay it off. But until then…he has to be alone on Earth because that’s where they’ll need him to be when his adventures continue.
On the second one….I thought it was a clever payoff to Gamora not understanding him until she spent enough time with him that she did. Because we’ve spent enough time with him now to understand him too. Of course, if we see him again without Gunn writing…we’ll go back to not understanding him again. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}I'm willing to accept not every romance works out and that Quill and Gamora just wasn't in the cards. I know the X-Men purists would hate it, but I wouldn't be against Kitty Pryde showing up in a Star-Lord solo movie as a new love interest.
