Berzerker emulated Brody, right down to the "Huss!" Also, Togi Makabe borrows quite heavily from Brody now I think. I remember a few years ago, Max Boyer had a gimmick whereby he was supposed to be the next "incarnation" of the Dynamite Kid/Chris Benoit, right down to having the nickname "Canadian Dynamite" and wearing tights with a Roman numeral III on the leg to show that he was the third of them.

Again I hate this "real wrestling" notion that guys who kick hard and do flips. Reallistic wrestling is UFC, it's as real a fight as it gets. I get the feeling that what the "real wrestling" comment was referring to was a more wrestling-centric product, IE professional wrestling in the more traditional sense rather than "sports entertainment". "Guys who kick hard and do flips" weren't ever mentioned, you just jumped to that conclusion.

With regards to the prescription/legality, someone having a prescription doesn't necessarily make it legal, considering that all the steroid scandals that have hit pro wrestling involved doctors prescribing drugs to wrestlers illegally. Because something is prescribed doesn't necessarily make it legal and above-board.

I also want to say Harley Race, but I'm not so sure about that one. Harley Race was briefly a steroid user during his WWF tenure in the late 1980s, him and the Dynamite Kid both mention it in their books. He apparently approached Dynamite about them and ended up using horse steroids.
