I read on a dirtsheet that the host is Conor O'brian's long lost brother.

I honestly feel this way about Orton. He just does NOTHING for me.

I don't dislike him at all...I just find him really dull.

Even for reality TV, that's a trashy ass premise.

I just wanted to pop in here and say Superstars was really good tonight! Four matches, and the main event was damn good and the crowd was hot for it!

Who cares? Do fans of Lost, 24, etc have debates about ratings? Haha, it really is something only wrestling fans seem to do. I chalk it up to a lot of wrestling fans being insecure about their love of it. Especially since it hasn't been "cool" for about 10 years now.

Mark Henry is slowly introducing these elements to his character, week after week, until we're so used to see him performing such athletic maneuvers that none of us are surprised when he debuts his new finisher: a 450 splash. He ate Evan Bourne and gained his powers. Now that's an angle I'd pay to see

Wouldn't the RKO be considered one of these too?

Like a lot of kids my age, I watched a ton of wrestling growing up. I stopped watching all wrestling towards the end of the WCW days. Watching wrestling was the cool thing to do in middle school and early high school. When it stopped being popular, I jumped ship. Hey, I was a follower back then, what can I say? I'd watch the occasional episode, after that but I never followed it. I remember thinking the 15th anniversary of RAW episode was great though. I marked out for IRS!
The Nexus angle brought me back in. This crap with Cena is about to make me lose my interest.
I kind of wish WWECW was back around because I'm quickly finding myself more interested in the mid and undercard guys. I catch Superstars every week.

So much for any emotional payoff his "firing" had. The speech and sendoff he had a few weeks ago turned me into a total Cena mark...even if it was for just one night. I was hoping it'd last.
But nope. He's back on TV the next freaking week, getting a ton of screen time. Last night, he was rehired.
I'm no booker, but I would have had him y'know, stay off the air. Give the fans, and even the smarks time to miss him. In the meantime have Nexus run amok. Have them grow bigger and win every title across both brands. Have them recruit Maxine or Laycool so they can win the Diva's title as well. Then have Cena get rehired somehow in time for the Rumble, maybe as a surprise entrant? Imagine the freaking pop he would get! Anyway, have Cena win the Rumble and challenge Wade for the title at Wrestlemania. Once again Cena forms an alliance to combat the Nexus and win all the belts back.

Doesn't one of the covers blatantly mimic some art from Cheetahmen II or something?

I was in the video store the other day and saw some B-action movie starring Steve Austin. Then I thought about The Rock and how he stars in a fair amount of movies(though I would hardly consider him an A-lister). I was wondering what other wrestlers you guys thought had the potential to be crossover stars like that.
Cena is obvious I guess. He's definitely the most well known out of the current crop of WWE guys and has a bit of personality. Orton's pretty popular too, but I think he's too wooden to do anything outside of a wrestling ring. Jericho has his band, and I've seen him as a talking head on VH1 as well.
Wasn't Stacy Keibler slated to be the next "it" girl a few years back? Or did I just imagine that. She definitely had potential, she was freaking gorgeous.

I feel like they wasted the big emotional payoff from Cena getting fired by having him show up the following week.
