I highly doubt anyone's going to come out and directly comment on the situation at all and give it a bigger audience than it already has if they legitimately don't feel anything was wrong. Like they're not gonna tweet "Don't worry guys, the Saudis didn't kidnap us and force us to stay in the country an extra 20 hours to teach Vince a lesson" or something. The fact there was nothing from the beginning is strange. When do you think the last time is a flight was delayed so long, then cancelled, and not one single person on the flight tweeted about it? That's the world we live in now. If a flight is delayed two hours, someone's cranky. If there's a mechanical issue and it's delayed six hours, someone's angry. If the flight is cancelled and they have to go back to their hotel, someone's f***ing furious. And that someone vents on social media. For NO ONE on a delayed, then cancelled, flight to say anything? It's unusual. I'm just going to speculate here a bit myself but maybe there's some rules they have on using social media while in Saudi Arabia or some shit like that or they were told to keep their phones off like when a flight is about to take off (at least in the beginning). Like let's say something DID legitimately go wrong, I don't think any of these guys would want to Tweet about it while they're still in the country. But because no one really knows what was going on, they're not going to say a word and avoid risking something bad happening in the case the worst was the truth.

Dunno. I trust the talent's word though personally as they were actually there. If they say shit was up then I'll take it at face value. And the fact that it's all of them. Any one of the talent could have said something to allay the speculation, and as far as I know, not one person has. That's suggestive in it's own right.

MOD FIGHT Gotta disagree, we don't have confirmation yet that it's as bad as it looks. I get how bad this looks but we just don't have reliable guys like Meltz making definitive claims just yet it and talent hasn't come out and said anything one way or another yet. We're in that awful "everything looks bad but noone wants to confirm it yet" phase. But even so, how would the talent know that this was the case? Like how would the guys left behind find out "We're still here because Vince got into a dispute with the prince and f***ed up our flight because of it?" Part of me feels that the talent on the plane are making the "Saudi must be bad" speculation themselves and guys like Meltzer and his speculation aren't helping. If it turns out that this was just a mechanical issue then a lot of people are gonna look really stupid.

Is it possible that this was legitimately just a mechanical issue and people were exhausted and annoyed and just wanted to go home?
Like everyone seems to be assuming that there 100% was some kind of foul play because of Saudi but this may just actually be a nothingburger.
And for people confused about the whole "getting left behind while others got to leave" thing, it's not easy to just charter flights for large groups of people. They probably attempted to fly a handful of important people back for SmackDown and hoped the other situation would work itself out. I doubt they're just gonna leave people behind if it was a serious issue like that.

Seth Rollins is too much of a douche in real life and in character to play the role he plays.

I think Philips, Saxton, and Lawler would have given the show a little more legitimacy at least.

I'm most excited about the Gooker theme.
But how many more of these do we need before we get Viscera's 2000 theme?

I could live with Del Rio being part of the storyline to a degree. Nash had no business being there in the first place. Del Rio could've at least been the corporate stooge that burials used in an attempt to dethrone Punk(Much later). Man I can't When Del Rio cashed there was just absolute silence. The air got completely sucked from the build. And only the void that is Del Rio's Charisma remained. That's not even remotely true at all. When Del Rio made his entrance, you can clearly hear the crowd react and then when he won, they popped. Honestly, I agree that WWE rushed him back but the ratings post MITB weren't even that much better than they were before that. Not to mention if Punk's off tv for months like people wanted, how exactly is that going to sell people on watching again? "Hey man you gotta watch Raw again!" "Why's that?" "They just started this story where this guy CM Punk crapped all over the company and then won the title and walked out." "Oh cool, when's he coming back?" "Ionno like 6 months from now?"

Not gonna lie: First time I saw CM Punk, I thought he was Rikishi. When CM Punk entered in a Royal Rumble, Jim Ross once exclaimed "This man is bigger than Rahkishi!" At least I think that was him.

I always hate it when someone is doing a run-in and their music hits. A good person would help out without fanfare. It's not something they can control. When they step on the stage, the two metal contacts in their boot set off the music automatically. I totally forgot about this toy and definitely had it as a kid. f*** now I want to go through the containers in the basement and see what's still down there.

I mean it was an awesome moment, at least that night, as was his debut on Raw a few weeks later. Too bad it didn't end all too well, with his stellar lifetime WWE win loss record of 0-2. That wasn't Sting that was a picture of Sting

Number 30 winning the Rumble by default after the ring has emptied. Imagine Cult of Personality hitting. The roof would EXPLODE. I had this idea, except it was Eva Marie winning at #30 A battle royal finish where somebody thinks they have the match won, only to be eliminated by another participant who was hiding. I'm pretty sure they did this literally at this past WrestleMania. But a better example would be when Sandman thought he won the right to be Raw GM but Regal was hiding and eliminated him.

I can't blame her too much... as she did seem like she wanted to be there... but... the WWE should have realized that she was not cut out for it way earlier than they did... at the very least once she botched "STAND IN THE CORNER AND DON'T MOVE" maybe realize it wasn't working out... and send her back to developmental and let her actually train. she should have just been a manager I mean she was one for a long portion of her main roster run... she wasn't particularly good there either. Proof.

I see no reason for Joe to just randomly win the title, especially when he's on Raw. I'd rather someone else win it from Kofi with real momentum and steam.

Would've been interesting if the NWO took the majority of the WCW stars who were "out of a job" at Survivor Series 01 and had WWE V NWO, and rebooted the invasion (could've explained how the Alliance members came back) I'm not even lying when I say I'm fairly certain that when Russo returned to the WWE for like 6 minutes in 2002 this was what he pitched.

The "It's not gonna be five on one, it's gonna five...on TWO!" promo from the Dallas Ten Man Match Raw in 2000. Foley has to take on a combined DX/Radicals, if he loses he's fired, anybody who tags with him is fired too. He resolves to go it alone over the course of the show. Rock shows up later, spends a few minutes doing one of his asshole promos tormenting Kevin Kelly, then suddenly turns on a dime and declares he'll stand with Foley. It's the first genuine, altruistic thing he does since his initial heel turn, with nothing to gain and everything to lose, and the crowd goes nuclear for it. It's mostly forgotten, but Foley then cuts a brief but terrific promo later in response, noting that he's not asking for The Rock's help but he'd be foolish not to take it. A nice little beat that underlines what's on the line and how The Rock, to this point, hadn't been the kind of person you'd expect to do this for someone. Is that the match where Kane returns after being gone for a whole like 4 days and JR makes it sound like it's the biggest return ever?
