No. On both the "Indy" and "homegrown" fronts it's a massive downgrade from the days of "Kevin Owens and His Amazing Friends". Nakamura, Joe, and Hideo and to a lesser extent Oney, and Swann are the only people I'm invested in. I've wanted WWE to push the homegrown talents for a while and they give me Angel Dawkins, Steve Cutler and Tino Sabatelli. That's like a middle finger dipped in a shit sundae.

Hating a move because it wouldn't work in UFC is one of the more bizarre things I've heard in a while. Well if one had the ability to shoot get someone up for a powerbomb, flinging them into a cage which is basically just fencing seems like a waste of power.

Physique is shit. Reminds me of Greg Gagne. The other cruiser weights look like at least they hit the gym. In my opinion it looks like the other guys have to adapt to his style and not the other way around. So it doesn't look like he can have a great match with everyone. I can't see him having a good match with guys not as talented like Titus or Darren Young amongst others. Not a good promo. Only thing that warrants giving him a contract is that he has ring presence and charisma, but in my opinion is a long time project. If they rush him too soon to the main roster he'll be a bust. Zack's physique is fine. Not everyone needs to be bulked up to shit. Otherwise he'd just look like one of those "clone factory" guys everyone whined about. If he looks good enough to wrestle in a speedo without people being horrified or disgusted, his body's fine. Useless bags of crap like Titus O'Neil and Darren Young don't deserve to be in the ring with an amazing talent like Zack anyway. If he can't carry them, then that's on them.

Should Jericho wrestle the Cruiserweights? Absolutely. Chris Jericho vs. any of those guys would be great. Should he be treated as a potential contender for the Cruiserweight Title? No. If Jericho is part of the Cruiserweight division then either he has to Gail Kim everyone or he has to get Bray Wyatt DEH'd or Deus Ex Machina'd by some other means out of winning the belt just so the others have a realistic shot at it. Why? This is one of several posts I have seen talking about how the CW is below people or they are too good for it. The CW Division is for smaller guys, not guys that aren't as good. The Cruiserweight division IS for smaller guys, BUT you know that if one of them manages to get hugely over they WILL be moved away from the Cruiserweights. Jericho can wrestle guys like Gallagher and Metallik every week on RAW, and he can even lose to them. But he shouldn't go after Perkins and the belt at all. My point is that he doesn't have to be IN the Cruiserweight division to put the Cruiserweights over

It's also 90s nostalgia. It was popular enough to be around for quite some time. As for the hype, well, it's just a really nice orange-tangerine drink. I grew up in the 90s and don't remember this stuff at all.

They should treat them like they're children like they did with the Juniors division on SmackDown. I'd watch three hours of Noam Dar eating a ham.

This probably wouldn't have happened if Stephanie never took that missionary trip to the Philippines and discovered a young TJ Perkins. Thanks Christian.

Yeah, it's happened before and this time there's no Vickie to save them Eh, the don't need Vickie, they just need a real chance. Dolph and Swagger can be over when WWE actually puts in the effort.

James Ellsworth comes out to challenge Perkins for the title. I don't want to see this happen, but I could easily see some sort of squash-style "showcase" match where James Ellsworth just acts as a dummy for head scissors, spinning arm drags, hurricanranas, planchas and top rope moves.

I'm a teacher myself, and one of the things I dread about the first day of school every year is knowing that at least one kid is going to bite my head off for mispronouncing their name, usually followed, like you said, with "Gawd! Why can't ANYONE ever say my name right?" or something to that effect. . This makes me think of one of those 8-10 year old "annoyingly smarter than everyone else" sitcom kids.

"Well... Here you go." Followed by a six man battle royal where no one gets music or is introduced. I'm assuming that if they get no music, it's because they're going to be given new music at some point and not the entrance themes they've used in the CWC.

ROH did sign him, Perkins decided to leave. You can say what you will about ROH, but they didn't shrug him off. What was Perkins' reason for leaving RoH?

Well, Cena at least earned his mega push by getting himself over. Reigns never had to do that, he was hand-picked from day one. Really tho? The first few months his run with the shield he was just the muscle and that was it. The attention was mostly on Ambrose and to a certain extent Rollins because of his in ring capabilities. He got over which made WWE pick him out as the "golden child" Was his massive push a year or two too early, yea but to say he never had to get over is crazy. People seem to forget that everyone was shook in thinking the shield was to be fed to Ryback Reigns was the one actually winning the matches for the Shield. The "attention was on Ambrose" because he was the best talker AND because Roman wasn't quite ready for singles so they could hide him in a tag team for a bit. Seth's in-ring capabilities made him pretty much the jobber of the group. Like until Rollins' heel turn, he was probably projected to be a generic high flying midcard babyface JTTS (basically early Kofi Kingston 2.0).

Seriously, anyone else think they were working us with that average looking trophy and they knew all along they had this bomb-ass belt designed? Whoever wins, they could lose the belt at any time, but that trophy is forever.
