Unfortunately, I heard about this right after their last show via a mutual friend/pro wrestler. While I miss those days that I was able to watch SportsTime Ohio, I will miss having a semi-major wrestling organization here in Ohio. Without them, all we've got is HWA in terms of known promotions in Ohio.

I wound up with just one game this time: GRiD 2.

Most likely, even if it doesn't you can bet someone will write a hack for it. I'm assuming that eventually the Steam Controller will be the go-to pad but that'll be a few years yet. From what I can tell, the Steam Controller will probably be out by the end of this year. Sure, it'll be a pricey bit of kit, but it's going to gain traction fairly quickly.

Why has nobody added my Friend Safari yet? I thought it was already posted on here somewhere... I added you to my friends list but you have to add everyone else back, otherwise no-one can see it. ...I feel like an idiot. Forgot to add most of you. Everyone in the front page has now been added; I'm also there as well.

There's been a good chunk of fun matches as well as the rising of the SHIELD, the Wyatts, and Big E. However, the midcard scene has meant less and less over the last year, ultimately turning into a big pile of nothing post-Summerslam. The tags, though, have improved rather nicely with a good breadth of wrestlers in that area now.
In short, this year gets a C+ to me. It's somewhat like an Oreo- good top and bottom, but instead of the cream middle, there's a slice of stale cheese. Hopefully, they'll improve that next year.

If this were based on the first 9 months of the year, it would've been a straight F. Hogan and Bischoff were sucking the life out of the company with their storylines (Aces and 8's were Bischoff's pet project).
However, given the events of the last 3 months, I am willing to give them a D+. They have made big strides in actually booking competent storylines and making everything work the way its supposed to. If these three months were all year round, I would've probably given them a C+ or better.
Here's to hoping things are looking up for them. If not, I'd hate to see a world where the WWE are the only large company left... again.

Ceramic Squirrel Stabbers is the name of my Stone Temple Pilots cover band. I'd pay good money to see that, Lancers. You up for it?

$75- $50 from Dad, $25 from Grandpa.
Thanks to Mom again for being a cheapskate and not getting anyone anything while she blows ~$400 on herself.

Dude, please slow it down on both your tone, and the quadruple-posting. When people are ready to respond to you, they will. This thread has been doing well for 12 pages, please don't get it closed. Excuse me? You're not a moderator. I am and wisdomwizard is right. Cool your jets.

It isn't that low, though you might be able to go to a Gamestop and get a used Gen 3 iPod Nano 4GB for ~$45.
As for new, it's next to impossible to find one with video playback for that cheap. You would have to go to ~$50 before you would see any like that and higher for quality.

So with the new NEWZ rule? Does that mean if the rule was applied in the past, NEWZ threads like MVP and Screwdriver or Christian and Malaysian Slaves are against the rule? Not really, unless there were multiple stories all trying to paint the same picture repeatedly.

This past month is the most I've enjoyed WWE since Survivor Series last year when it became painfully obvious Punk was destined to lose to Rock. Throw TNA greatly improving by getting rid of the two relics that set them back years, and Chikara finally picking things up, this is best wrestling has been in a long ass time. You're right. Personally, I'd say the last time wrestling was running at this level was around 2005-6 when Edge, Cena, and Orton were on their way up to the main event, TNA was doing alright for itself debuting on Spike (and getting Angle, a huge coup for the time) and CHIKARA was running the whole Hero vs. Quack deal.

In my experience, a lot of ad-match people are very nice. A lot are crazies. They will try to claim that two completely different items are the same thing and get violent when you calmly explain that they're two different items. They hope that by showing out and throwing a fit that they'll get what they want. I've seen more semi-violent incidents happen from ad matchers than I have any other segment of the retail population. I haven't had the exact same experience with this. I work at Walmart, and I rarely run into the crazies when it comes to price matching. In my 2+ years there, I've only had 1 or 2 people try to do anything like yelling and verbally trying to dress me down so they can save a few extra cents on their shiny baubles. When it came to those, I handed it over to my managers and they took care of it from there.

Sorry to be a bit late to the party, but it confuses me why my school (Toledo) didn't get into a bowl game where Ohio, a team with the same overall and worse in-conference record (Toledo 5-3, Ohio 4-4), got into one. Is it because of Toledo's last game, a loss to Akron, or was it outside forces? Probably the bowl researched and figured Ohio was more attractive in terms of ticket sales and tv rating compared to Toledo. To me, that would be confusing. Toledo's one of the higher attended teams in the MAC (only Northern Illinois has more attendance), and while Ohio U's market is bigger (Huntington, WV) than Toledo's it isn't by all that much. Having had some time to think about it, I believe that the biggest reason that Toledo didn't get in was because they may have been either asking for too much or Ohio was more attractive in terms of cost to the bowl runners.
