- Hacksaw was a main eventer
- Tatanka was IC champ and would soon be in the main event
- Hogan was gone forever (When he was in WCW)
- The Hart Foundation started with Stu Hart

When I was young:
That WWF and WCW were actually one company.
Because I mean as a kid I start watching and I see Hacksaw Jim Duggan, The Honky Tonk Man, Earthquake, all in WWF. Then one day I turn on WCW and there like all in WCW now. Along with Hogan.
Ahmed Johnson was a cool guy that was a good wrestler who was like unbeatable.

I didn't think there was any other company other than the WWF. I just presumed that they were they only wrestling promotion on the planet.
Then I discovered WCW.

That it was real.
(Hey, it was the days of kayfabe and I was really young. We all believed in Santa Claus once...)

When I was a youngster in the mid 80's I thought Hulk Hogan and Wendi Richter were a couple.

When I first got deeply into wrestling in 1987, I suspected that Rick Martel and Sherri Martel were brother and sister, or possibly husband and wife.

That it was real. (Hey, it was the days of kayfabe and I was really young. We all believed in Santa Claus once...) Wait, Santa's not real??? Anyway, let's see. Hmmm... That King of the Ring 1995 was an awesome show. Hey, I was like, 9 or 10, and it was my first full PPV. How was I supposed to know it sucked? That Superstars and Action Zone featured the same matches, about 2 weeks apart. Again, I was 10. How did I know that this stuff was taped ahead of time? And this might be the worst one of all: I thought that Bam Bam and Man Mountain Rock were the same guy. No I'm not kidding. I honestly thought that MMR was Bam Bam in an orange wig. Like nobody else ever confused one wrestler for another before?

As a kid, I actually believed "Ravishing" Rick Rude, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, and "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig were TOTAL JERKS!!!!
I really wanted to see them GET BEAT UP REAL BAD!!!!
These days, I wish we had heels who are half as good as they were...

I believed that Goldust's makeup could never be taken off, and he really scared the crap out of me. I was about 7 or 8 at the time he debuted anyway.

there were multiple Ultimate Warriors, and the original died in a motorcycle accident
I believed the house shows I went to as a kid were recorded events, even though I didn't see any cameras

I thought Undertaker and Kane were really brothers and that Kane was the guy who was the fake Undertker.
That Lance Storm and Glacier were the same guy.

Typhoon = Godwins = Joey Abs = Bobby Roode
So did I. Are we wrestling prophets?
I also believed that ECW was a development territory for the WWF, until I got on the internet.
All wrestlers who were gone were either retired or dead.
Doug Dillinger was one day going to rip off his shirt to reveal an nWo t-shirt.

Some of these are WCW related.
- There were 3 Ultimate Warriors.
First one died of "steroid overdose" or possibly because his tassels were too light around his arm and cut off his circulation. He was then replaced with the "guy who used to be the Texas Tornado". Lastly there was yet another Warrior who showed up in WCW in 1998.
- Edge & Christian were actual brothers.
- Stevie Ray and Booker T were NOT actual brothers.
- Mankind was supposed to be Kane and the Undertaker's cousin. Paul Bearer was his uncle.
- "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan was a bad ass.
I always figured he had some tough guy gimmick since he carried around that 2X4 (this was before I watched wrestling). Later when he showed up in WCW again I was amazed that he had a "not so bright" gimmick.
- Had no idea Oklahoma was one of the "Powers That Be".
- Thought Kane was going to turn out to be the Undertaker in a mask.
When I first started watching Undertaker was gone for one reason or another and I had no idea that the 2 had already interacted.
- Thought Big Boss Man was supposed to be a police officer rather than a prison guard.
- Didn't know there were originally two Mounties.
- Got it in my head somehow that the Macho Man was of Native American heritage.
- Thought anyone could win the World title.
When I first started watching wrestling I decided I wanted Ultimo Dragon to become World Heavyweight Champion in WCW. I had no idea that there was a pecking order and that it would be a cold day in hell before Ultimo Dragon (despite his talent) would become World Champ.
- Vince McMahon was a WCW personality.
I started watching right around the time Bischoff challenged Vince to a match. I thought maybe Vince was a WWF guy but seeing as how he was being challenged on WCW TV I figured I must have been mistaken.
- JJ Dillon was Ted Turner
I had no idea who JJ Dillon was nor did I have any idea what Ted Turner looked like. They were always talking about Turner however and one night Dillon came out to give Bischoff some word from Ted Turner and I thought they were saying Dillon was Turner.
- WWF scratch logo was supposed to look as if someone had spray painted the original one. It was not until they changed to the WWE that I heard people refer to it as the "scratch logo".
- Though HBK was in the DX with X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws. I didn't know he had his last match before they joined.
- Thought the Macho Man was the leader of the Wolfpac.
When I first started watching I remember him feuding with Hogan despite them both being in the nWo. As such when the Wolfpac formed I figured he was the leader. I also did not know that Kevin Nash had been one of the founding members of the nWo. I didn't know how it had came to be.
