Anyone can take one look at the guy, and think "what an arrogant jack ass". That's what his face and mannerisms convey. Why is WWE pushing him as a good guy? I don't get it.
As a matter of fact, why the hell are both him AND Holly faces? It doesn't make any sense.
And that ladies and gentlemen is the first and only rant about Cody Rhodes you will ever read.
Anyone else agree?

Because he doesn't have 1% of the charisma that his dad or older brother have, so he has to mooch off his father's reputation since he can't pull it off himself. Since his dad is one of the eternal babyfaces, Cody must be too in order to ride his coattails.

I don't know, I think he could ride on his own though, he just needs some time to develop. At the very least if not a main event-ish run, then turn the damn team heel.

At least Cody didn't start at the absolute top. He's been working to make himself better and is better for it. I think he wrestles better than his father IMO.

I could see him and Hardcore as heels down the line, but dont think he could make it alone just yet.
In another thread someone suggested pairing Sunny with the two and having her corrupt Cody in a Mrs Robinson kind of way, with Cody eventually turning heel in a HBK sexy boy kind of way.
That would work. IMO anyway.

Don't worry, it won't be long until he turns. Happens every time a wrestler is brought in as a happy-go-lucky babyface. Just look at The Rock, Orton and Cena.
What they should've done with Cody is put him in a storyline with his father as soon as he debuted. It would've got him over, especially if Cody turned heel by brutally attacking Dusty.

this may sound strange, but when i see him i keep thinking that his fathers voice is screaming in his head, like he's trying to follow someones intruction constantly. just go with the flow a little more, be yourself. or gain 50 pounds like a damn rhodes should, for gods sake.

Dustin's weight has yo-yoed over the years, though I bet his svelt days are behind him.

Because he looks like a heel he is an effective FACE. That is how it works. Thats why Santino was a disaster as a face. Cody is edgy enough to be a babyface thats all.

They also bring second/third-generation superstars in as blue-chipper babyfaces. He will probably get a heel turn in time.

1. Son hates legendary father. Been there, done that. Nobody will ever think that Dusty is a heel at this point, and Cody would only look weak by beating up an old man. Avenger works well, especially with Randy Orton's legend killer going around.
