I have a friend who wants to go to the royal rumble in Jan and wants "not exactly the worst" tickets (aka one step above cheapest)... Anyone have an idea how much the tickets will cost?

My guess is, a lot. Even for the nosebleeds. Probably in the $50 range.
Place is going to sell out in a heartbeat, I'll bet.

Keep checking back on wwe.com in the tickets section. They have tickets available for a show on Saturday Jan 26 and Monday Jan 28, but not yet for Sunday Jan 27 (Royal Rumble). I've been checking back practically everyday for 6 months just waiting for tickets to go on sale. It should be any day now.

Yeah, I figured they would have been on sale by NOW. You're best bet is to try and get a ticket when they go on sale. You'll be screwed if you have to go to Ebay, etc.

I've read that they're holding off until the last possible second to milk WM tix dry.
Believe me, I will be heralding the tickets that are on sale and the tickets that I get. I mean, look at my location. How could I not go.
They probably will announce an on sale date pretty soon, my money's on last week of Dec.
Unless they hold a royal rumble on the day of the event outside of the garden where the first 10k to get in get to stay.

Wait, so am I to believe the Rumble's not sold out already? MSG is classic WWF/E country - if they're not selling out there, that's not good.

It's hard to sell out a show when the tickets haven't gone on sale yet.

I am certain that once it is announced, the tickets will be gone in an hour or two as it is one of the WWE's bigger PPV's.

Then the tickets would have gone on sale.

The tickets probably aren't going to be out until late December or even early January if possible. There's no way in Hell a PPV in MSG isn't going to sell out. I hope I can go though, the last PPV I went to there was Survivor Series 2002.

The last ppv i attended was mania 20, I was online at 4:00 am , only to learn that had given out armbands earlier in the night to people to get ahead of the lines. I paid a dude $50 for his armband, and finally got a chance to stand online to buy the tickets, It was WELL worth it. I hope i dont have to go through the same for these tickets

How much do they charge for the front rows? For a PPV? Anywhere from $300 and up, especially if you order them online, then they jack up the tax.

Well, according to the guy sitting behind me the last time I was at the Garden, the place holds 200,000 people and has filled it to capacity for all 27 Wrestlemanias. So you're WRONG!!! ...that guy was a lot of fun to listen to throughout the night.
