No, they don't need to use it more than they do. They should just develop better characters and storylines to get the fans into the matches more.

yeah i mean for one night Ratings will boost! what will happen to those involved in the match? Off TV for awhile nursing injuries! i mean yeah thats exactly what WWE needs... more injured superstars... what they're doing right now is working... they should leave it at that. Maybe a few more hardcore matches but no Barbed Wire... too dangerous

You know when WWE relaunched ECW I thought "YES! Time for some hardcore action like CZW" but WWE dissappointed me because ECW has been a huge disappointment and its hardly hardcore at all, its all toned down CRUD.
But to answer the question, yes, if WWE was serious about ECW, they would relaunch it the original hardcore way it was and add Barbed Wire matched and lighttube matches and C-4 matches and stuff so we can have REAL ECW not WWECW CRAOP

only if it fits the situation and the wrestlers involved
I can't think of too many current WWE employees who would do it except maybe Foley or some of the ECW originals (Balls Mahoney)

I feel it should definately be kept on ECW, and used very sparingly. How much would a Wrestlemania main event between Undertaker and Triple H in a barbed wire match rock?

It should only be used in the most heated of feuds like MVP and Matt Hardy

It should only be used in the most heated of feuds like MVP and Matt Hardy augh that would be the worst time to use it imho... here are 2 guys pretty much assuredly future main eventers... and you want them put in such a dangerous match? I say leave it for those who have done them before... dont make a future star do it.

C'mon, even UFC don't use barbed wire. Barbed wire gimmick's time is past, and its an unneccesary risk in an already risky sport.

Perhaps as a very rare feud ender, but no, not all the time. The level of risk is too high, and to use it frequently would be stupid.
Although I can always turn to Fire Pro Returns for a Barbed Wire deathmatch. Even in WWE or old-school WWF! Now there's a sight. Ken Patera vs. Sam Houston in a freaking EXPLODING RING!

naw. there are plenty of people who badly hurt each other/themselves without weapons. Don't even wanna see what they'd do with some more hardcore weapons.
The only time I would like to see if is in big feud enders with guys who know how to use it(like Foley for instance). And even then, its not something I like to see a lot.

I don't even consider CZW a loser fed considering how much I enjoyed their feud with ROH and some of the wrestlers who have come through there that I am a fan of, but given those are the only two choices I had to go with the latter. I think I've seen enough barbed wire matches for one lifetime, especially when two kids in a local fed put on a Bloody Valentine's Massacre I don't think could be topped and wouldn't want to see anyone try.

No.
I hate wrestling matches involving barbed wire, cheese graters and all that other crap.

I like a little of the ultraviolence. There have been some defining matches in barbed wire (of course Sabu/Funk springs to mind).
As its already stated, it should be used very sparingly and only when the feud calls for it. The biggest problem is probably finding two nutjobs (because face it, the nutjobs are the best at it) in the WWE to do it, the second problem is creative is too hit or miss nowadays to pull off a feud that would get that far, other than hotshotting a barbed wire match just to have one.
I'd love to see Undertaker/Edge get to the point where they're in a barbed wire match as I believe that feud could get that heated if they booked it correctly, but on the other hand I doubt either of them would be up for it, and I don't really blame them for it.

No, if anything it should be used less.
Case in point here is the Foley/Flair I Quit match. They wheel through tables and chairs, pull out the drawing pins, pull out the barbed wire baseball bat and barbed wire board, and the crowd are still chanting "WE WANT FIRE!". Last year at the start of the ECW show, it seemed to be everywhere and it was just too much; I know barbed wire must be incredibly painful but I was just thinking "great, another barbed wire shot". When it was being used in virtually meaningless Test and Mike Knox tag team matches, it was overplayed, and I don't want to see it become so normal, so par for the course.

No... because Mick Foley is the only person that could pull it off in the WWE, and since he doesn't wrestle anymore I'd say no.
