I know it was one hour on tv....but the show was in London, meaning it was on a delay here in the U.S...so did they really wrestle the whole hour, or did WWE edit in ad breaks to make it seem like they did?
I'm sure if anything WAS edited, they still probably still wrestled for 45 minutes
any thoughts?

I think it was a 45 minute match in reality.

To my knowledge, it ran around the 55 minute mark.

I was front row, and looking at my watch at the end of the match, it seemed more like it was hovering around the 50 minute mark.

I was wondering why you would leave in the commercial gaps on the HBK DVD, it seems on a DVD, you could put the whole match in. Surely they don't stop the cameras rolling in the ad breaks?

It would probably appear quite weird, since I believe the announcers stop talking during breaks. Also, nothing much goes on - usually, they wait around until the break is over, usually one wrestler down on the outside.

Nowadays, most tv matches that have a commercial break between them are usually spent outside of the ring lying down after a high risk spot, or in a resthold until the camera start rolling again.
