On the Undertaker DVD, they show a promo for Hell in the Cell before his match with HBK that has a clip of Eric Bischoff in it.

If the feed is lost on TV or PPV, the video is back in during replays of the show/DVD.

On the Survivor Series 06 DVD extra, Michael Cole refers to One Man Gang, who is alive and well, as "the late One Man Gang".

During the Hart Foundation/Rockers match on the Hart DVD, Ventura's commentary is cut out save for one line about Bret "now the technician."

On the WM15 Anthology DVD, Kevin Kelly clearly says the "WWF Superstars".

On WM 18, there were some obvious "Rocky!" chants during Rock/Hogan to ward off the constant Hogan chants.
On the new Shawn Michaels DVD, when talking about the Screwjob, they talk about Bret not wanting to "do business" but they do keep ignoring the fact that he had the creative control clause in his contract. While I agree with McMahon on the Screwjob, there were better ways they coulda handled it

why is jesse commentary in no dvd To make a long story short, WWE have to pay Jesse Ventura for showing a segment with him on or him commentating it. WWE just edit Ventura out so they don't have to pay.

why is jesse commentary in no dvd Because they have to pay him royalties every time they do. The only times they actually did include his commentary (recently, at least) were on the Wrestlemania and Royal Rumble sets.

Why do they have to pay him royalties, and not anyone else?
Some sort of lawsuit, I assume?

Why do they have to pay him royalties, and not anyone else? Some sort of lawsuit, I assume? Yeah, in 1999, Jesse owns all of his rights and stuff. The only ones where asking is not needed is whole PPV's being put to media or HUGE names like Hogan, but all else... WWE is a wimp.

Why do they have to pay him royalties, and not anyone else? Some sort of lawsuit, I assume? Yes. When the WWF decided to release stuff on video, Ventura asked about royalities. He was told no one was receiving any and he was fine with it. He came to find out Hogan was receiving royalities and sued. I believe he won something like $800,000 in back royalities, plus all future ones.

This is from the last chapter of the documentary portion of The Rise and Fall of ECW (Paul Heyman debuts on RAW). As Paul is walking to the ring, pay attention to the cameraman on the side of the ramp. When he turns to follow Heyman, you can clearly see the scratch logo on the side of his camera.

Here's an oldie but a goodie: On the Coliseum edit of Summerslam '88, they pulled a real boner in the middle of the Bulldogs-Rougeaus match and showed a 2- to 3-second portion of the match TWICE, with spliced commentary that makes no sense. It's at the part where Dynamite gets back suplexed off the second turnbuckle.
And nine months earlier, Coliseum screwed up the 20-man tag match at the first Survivor Series by accidentally clipping the Bulldogs' elimination by the Islanders. Whoops!
Poor Bulldogs.

On The History of the Undertaker DVD, when Taker beat Sid for the belt, the graphic said "Wrestlemania 7: 1992."

The only edits I can think of that annoyed me were Sandman's entrance being shortened at ONS and the KFC spot being removed from Mickie vs Trish at Wrestlemania 22

I'm pretty sure that they worked a deal out with ventura which is why he's on the world title, piper, awa, and hogan anthology dvds. Also, he was on some 2002-3 dvds, but that was when he was still governor of minnesota and couldnt legally recieve royalties.
