I'm sure I saw HHH's nameplate on the belt very recently. Well somebody after Armageddon took the picture of Orton from No Mercy walking up the ramp with the "Triple H" belt started spreading it around to some of the newz sites saying it was from Armageddon and going "OMGZ! Why does it still have Triple H's name on it!". I think most sites took the story down though once they realized it was actually from No Mercy. |

I can't understand why any names are on the belt. I remember an article saying Vince wasn't gonna use nameplates anymore because they cost too much. Those nameplates can run as high as, what...maybe $50?

I don't get this at all. In order for Triple H's name to be on it, they would have to deliberately change the nameplate, either for this picture specifically, or for when Hunter wins it in March. But Randy Orton wouldn't be wearing a belt with Triple H's name on it for three months, before he loses it to him. So that means this picture must have been taken in the two hours between the Orton/HHH matches at No Mercy, either before or after Triple H beat Umaga at the same PPV. Maybe, after the HHH/Umaga match, Orton posed for some publicity shots backstage, and no one noticed Triple H's name on the belt, from when he took it out for the Umaga match. Wow, now my head hurts. Mustn't do so much thinking before the holidays  |
