It seems a few of TNA's formerly unique finishing moves are showing up in WWE rings. Batista now does the Black Hole Slam and Umaga does whatever it is that Chris Harris's finisher is called.
I hadn't seen either of those moves - at least not done in that way - before I saw them in TNA. Am I ignorant, or am I crazy, or is WWE using the moves TNA uses deliberately?

Don't forget the Texan Destroyer. Murdoch does the Code Red powerbomb, not the Canadian Destroyer.

It's not a canadian destroyer!
It's a move known as the Code red or The "Yoshi Tonic" to Chikara fans.
Edit: Beaten to it.

I don't think they're using them accidentally... I believe the use of the moves are entirely deliberate. In the sense that they're hitting the moves. I don't think they're giving a receipt to TNA or anything... I've never got the impression that they care enough to do that... they didn't have anyone stealing the Jackhammer when Goldberg was hot, so I don't think this is for that reason, more just cos they're pretty cool moves.

Besides the obvious Gillberg, they did have Billy Gunn using the Jackhammer a bit.

I remember him at least doing it in his gimmick as the Love Machine Viscera, not sure if he did as vampire Viscera, anyone remember if he did? Anyways I don't see a big deal about guys incorporating certain versions of sideslams or whatever into their matches even if they did originate in TNA. I'm in agreement with you that there's no big deal in using a move someone else uses in another promotion if it's a cool move. Wrestling is a continuously evolving sport, moves that at one point were unique to one guy are now common moves, that's just how it works. I mean look how common DDT's are now, but the DDT used to be a unique finisher for Jake the Snake.

I say use them. If I was the inventor(or even not the inventor, but just the person who made the move famous) and I saw someone in the biggest wrestling company in the world use it, I'd think of it as an honor.

Isn't the black hole slam just a big boss slam?
