Yeah, Cornette is beyond amazing, and I'm glad he's got a home at TNA, they just need to let him go a little more.
But there's several up on the Tube, all very much worth watching.

I always loved these as a kid...I remember being upset when his promos stopped airing.
I also liked how he got a pop from the fans, considering he was a heel back then.

The only issue I have with that gimmick is that it was eventually used to bring the "real" NWA to the WWF... Complete with Jeff Jarrett as champion.
Garbage.

I wish I could find the one where he bashes the WWF around New Year's '98. It features one of my all-time favorite Cornette-isms...

These were great. I remember being totally shocked. Not necessarily at his comments, but that he mentioned WCW and its wrestlers at all. Complimenting some of them, no less.

I loved these Cornette rants back at the time, and I still love them now. I always thought it was very ballsy of WWE to let him rip on their own guys like that. Like I wasn't surprised to hear Cornette badmouth the NWO since WWE probably loved that. But the fact that they let him shoot on Shawn Michaels too surprised me.

Ah, the icons shoot. The only problem I have is when Cornette moans about wrestlers who "didn't know when to quit" and mentions Ric Flair. I love Ric Flair but I think that's a bit of a contradiction. And talking about him being a professional outside the ring is funny if you believe the rumour about Ric Flair doing "the helicopter" on the plane ride from hell. But I don't know Ric Flair personally and normally laugh at rumours like that, so..... |

Heh, I do like how Corny mentions that Vince and Co. were "proven totally innocent" in the steroid case. Eh, maybe not totally, Jimmy.  But he's still brilliant and one of the greatest talkers of all time. |

100% part of the Cornette love bandwagon. Would love to see him back in WWE either in a managers or commentators role. He is beyond any shadow of a doubt one of the best talkers in the history of the business.
