I remember loving thses back when I was a kid, and these are some nice finds. Since the funny I use laugh at these when I was a kid, since I like how Cornette pwned people in those segments.

I can't believe I've never heard Cornette before. This guy is money. The whole "sweeeet" thing was f***ing hilarious.

And here he is shooting on the Clown Posse: youtube.com/ watch?v=bEemuqMcKCM&feature=related Link broken due to foul language. That had to make them die a little bit inside. It was sick burn after sick burn from the number one expert in the business. Jim Cornette is the best there is for my sensibilities. ICP should've embraced there role as the over the top comedy relief they were at best, and not tried to step up to a man, that anyone who knows even a little about this industry, would own you inside and out.

he's such a talent when it comes to talking, the man needs his own talk show, or a regular part on WWE, i can't watch tna and i find myself needing a cornette fix. What is his status with WWE? does he hate them? by the way: youtube.com/watch?v=Id4rZhN_LEgEhhh....I agree he was in the right and I would have been mad if I were in his place. That being said, I don't like it when people berate service people to a ridiculous degree like calling them ugly (think of a word that rhymes with punt)'s.

Yeah, that has me confused too. I mean, if you want to go own someone to make a name for yourself why go after Cornette of all people? Wouldn't it make more sense to go to Ken Patera?

in re what's the deal with jim cornette and wwe, he was let go from his position as a booker/talent developer in ovw because he allegedly slapped one of the talent in a physical confrontation. i'm sure that, long term, they'd take him back, but his absolute aversion to airtravel would make it a bit cumbersome. and these promos are gold. and to all the crappers out there, read phil mushnick's column following the benoit tragedy. www.nypost.com/seven/06292007/sports/benoit_tragedy_wakes_up_media_sports_phil_mushnick.htm

Cornette announcing on Smackdown would be enough to make me watch the show again.

One of my favorite stories about him involved him and Ed Ferrara at a local Nashville wrestling show. Cornette was still steamed over Ed's bad impression of Jim Ross and when Ed went to shake Jim's hand, he spit in his face.
I don't advocate doing that normally, but I can't say I wouldn't do the same if some douchebag was on TV mocking my friend.

I don't know if anyone posted this one yet. But here is the infamous Jim Cornette Vs. Dairy Queen incident, which was mention in the Chris Jericho's book. xD www.youtube.com/ watch?v=Id4rZhN_LEg Edit : I've broken up the link because it contains some strong language.

Cornette was way out of line in that incident.

Cornette was way out of line in that incident. I agree. He was quite right to complain strongly about the incident, but when he called that woman a c*** he overstepped the mark.

Jim Cornette has always irritated me. Just because you talk way too much and way too loud, it doesn't make it interesting.
