This weeks episode of Smackdown is a countdown of the top 5 matches of 2007 as voted by the WWE fans via WWE.com.
Now I believe this is a countdown of all of the WWE, not just Smackdown.
Number 5: The Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Wrestlemania XXIII
King Booker vs CM Punk vs Matt Hardy vs Mr. Kennedy vs Finlay vs Edge vs Jeff Hardy vs Randy Orton
Winner: Mr. Kennedy
Number 4: Randy Orton vs Triple H
Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship
No Mercy
Winner: Randy Orton after an RKO onto the announce Table
Now they're doing a recap of Flair's retirment angle, his Umaga match and his upcoming match against HHH.
Next weeks Friday Night Smackdown still start a beat the clock challenge to determine who will face Edge at the Royal Rumble for the World Title
Number 3: John Cena vs Shawn Michaels
Monday Night Raw, April 23rd
Winner: Shawn Michaels
A musical montage of this years Tribute to the Troops is aired, makes for a nice, warm fuzzy feeling.
Number 2:
Ok we are interupted by a Save_Us video, one that recaps the return of Chris Jericho, the close of the Illegitamate Son angle, Austin spraying Santino in beer, the winner of the Diva Search, Edge cashing in MITB against Undertaker and Battle of the Billionaires.
Number 2: Team Triple H vs Team Umaga... seriously
Triple H, Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, Kane,Matt Hardy vs Umaga, Kennedy, Finlay, Big Daddy V and MVP
Survivor Series
Winner(s): Triple H and Jeff Hardy
After the bizzare choice for number 2, they hype up Hardy vs Randy at Royal Rumble
Now number one...
Number 1:(with apparently an overwelming ammount of votes) Batista vs The Undertaker
One Fall for the World Heavyweight Championship
Wrestlemania XXIII
Winner: Undertaker (15-0)
The show closes with Undertaker posing with the belt with Cole saying the WHC landscape has changed to a Rated R era.
Finally a video recapping Edges return at SSeries and his following Promo, then Taker tombstoning Vickie on The Cutting Edge, Edge's title shot against Batista with the Taker run in, Teddy annoucning the Triple Threat at Armageddon, and finally Edge winning the gold with help of the Edgeheads.
Cole again announces the beat the Clock and we are out.
