I think if TNA were going up against raw or smackdown it would be no contest. But this is ECW...the C show. And it is on a different night so the rating will likely be lower anyway.
Place your bets!

ECW: 1.0 TNA: 1.1
The change in nights does them in.

I think ECW did a pretty crap rating when it was on a saturday one week, so I'm thinking Impact will win as I think a lot of people will forget what night ECW is on. RAW or SD! would win easily, but I don't think ECW's gonna be able to.

I think it might piss off Vince so I'd like to see impact win.

iMPACT!. ECW has 2 things working against it in that it is the one changing nights and WWE hasn't mentioned the time change on TV other than a 2 minute crawl on ECW. Granted there were commercials for ECW last night but, I don't see many people paying attention to a commercial about a show that they already watch . ECW will be lucky to break 1 this week.

If it was the Monday Night Wars, then I would be one of the millions of people switching back & forth. But, since this is not that era and TNA often can do more in one hour (due to their heavier roster), I will stick with Kurt Angle Variety Hour featuring Bobby Roode.

TNA probably should as ECW has been really really weak for the last month or so, ECW probably will.

There is (was) a thread exactly like this in the (w)rest of wrestling.
But ECW will win.

There is (was) a thread exactly like this in the (w)rest of wrestling. But ECW will win. The reason for that is because there are a ton of us who miss the Monday NIght Wars and are secretly wanting another ratings war to [supposedly] make wrestling great again. In my opinion, I wouldn't want a war, since the WWE could easily swallow up Double J's promotion if it felt like it. In order to squash TNA, the WWE could just suddenly move Raw and Smackdown to TNA's timeslots (counting the replay). I can't really imagine a one-hour program beating a two-hour program.

I think it depends on how much fans like each show.

I voted for "I dont knoooooooow" because I am thinking that Superbrawl Saturday will get pre-empted and shown on Thursday, beating them both out. ;D

My questoin, if TNA does manage to beat ECW in the ratings...just how much will it encourage the "TNA > WWE!" people who constantly bash the things they claim to never watch?

It's kinda sad for TNA that there's even a question. ECW is the C show on a weird channel in a weird timeslot. Impact the is the only TNA show.

Impact winning in the ratings might be the thing that convinces Vince to actually put some effort in improving ECW.
TNA will look really bad if they're A show can't even beat WWE's C show.

Ha. Suprisingly...or maybe not...ECW is winning in this poll, but TNA is winning on the (w)rest of wreslting section.

Why would he be convinced at that? Now if they were head to head for more than one week and TNA beat them, then you might have a point. Hasn't TNA beat ECW in the ratings before?
