Impact winning in the ratings might be the thing that convinces Vince to actually put some effort in improving ECW. TNA will look really bad if they're A show can't even beat WWE's C show. Why would he be convinced at that? Now if they were head to head for more than one week and TNA beat them, then you might have a point. Hasn't TNA beat ECW in the ratings before? Nope. ECW bottomed out a 1.2, but TNA scored a 1.0 or 1.1 that week. ECW normally averages around a 1.4 and TNA has yet to break the 1.3 barrier.

It's kinda sad for TNA that there's even a question. ECW is the C show on a weird channel in a weird timeslot. Impact the is the only TNA show. well i think wwe has a slight advantage. they have had a slight bit more time to develop themselves as company than tna. just a tad though. in seriousness though, i think ecw will win. wwe fans can be rabidly loyal, and with the fact that you can miss impact and still watch two days later on replay if anything good happens may hurt tna on thursday. then again ecw is supposedly online now, although i always seem to have problems with the video player, but then you throw in name recognition and wwe takes the night.
