So...PacMan is coming. ESPN is running the story and even mentioning that he debuts this thursday on Spike TV.
How will TNA be affected?

Their ratings are going to jump from a massive 1.2 to a 1.3.

I think TNA will have a minor curiosity bump. As the guy above me said: 1.2 to 1.3.

He won't hurt things any worse than they already are, but he won't help, either. Maybe a mild curiosity ratings bump the first night, then back to normal after that.

I doubt he'll give the ratings a huge surge. I don't think a lot of football fans are going nuts in trying to see him, but I could be wrong.
Maybe it'll go up a bit, and then after the curiosity dies down, it'll go back into regular numbers.

I really don't see him helping. Very few know who he is, thanks to other events he hasn't been in the news, and those that do know who he is, tend not to like him.

No way! They went through with signing him?
Idiots.

So...I take it he will be managing people...most likely Jeff Jarrett since it was Double J's idea to bring him in?

I haven't followed the NFL in probably 3 years, so I have no idea who Pacman Jones is aside from someone with a goofy name.
As for helping, I've said it before.... if Kurt Angle can join TNA and only have a very minor impact (pun there was unavoidable), then bringing in "popular sports star du jour" isn't gonna do much either.
