Okay...that could be taken as a little rough, but I was just wondering if he really matters in TNA.
In ECW, Rhyno was a monster. He was ruthless. He was awesome. To this day, I can still here him growling the words, "Why should I be TV champion when this f***ing company doesn't even own a TV!"
In WWE, Rhyno got lost in the shuffle and because of that, lost steam. At one point he was randomly teaming with people to go after the tag titles...for no given reason. Nothing had happened to cause him to want to win the tag belts. He just kept pulling random partners from left and right. Then he got mad, threw a vase during a big important meet & greet, and got canned.
Then, he showed up in TNA.
A new chance. He won the World title...because Kevin Nash couldn't show up for a PPV. He soon (was it the very next week?) lost it back and has now became lost in the shuffle in TNA.
Rhino burned his ECW belt. Why? Who knows. TNA loved to call out WWE for no good reason earlier in the year. It was the last act of the Rhino I knew and was a fan of.
His edge is gone. He went from ruthless to just plain LESS. The majority of the feuds he has been in for the last year have been from Rhino sticking his nose into business that he shouldn't be apart of....
Rhino wants to help his friend Christian. He fails. They feud.
Rhino wants to help AJ Styles. He fails. They feud.
Rhino wants to help Hector Guerrero for no aparent reason. He randomly grabs Senshi as a partner and they beat LAX. Is that a feud?
Rhino wants to help Eric Young. He fails. He feuds with James Storm after having beer poured on him.
(I think I'm actually missing one of his feuds...)
When did Rhino start caring about people, daggone it!? I see him on TV and I just don't really care.
When he was randomly thrown into the Triple Threat match between Angle, Christian and him, I knew he was getting pinned.
I know, at this point in his career, he is just putting people over to help them look like stars. AJ's constant out smarting of him helped AJ look smart...until he became Christian's dumb friend. His feud with Storm should make Storm more credible. Hopefully.
So...to try and rap this up...with TNA focusing on having more already established stars in the company (stars that could easily take his spot of putting people over) is Rhino valuable enough to keep around, or is he on the chopping block if a "bigger" name becomes available?
