The last time I cared about Rhino was during The Invasion with him and Angle putting on a pretty good little series of matches for the US Title...and him being one of the more solid, "threats" to the WWE guys...then he got hurt and hasnt done much of anything worth while since...to me anyway...

He's definitely lost in the shuffle and most of his feuds are unintentional comedy these days. For some reason, I think his day will come again, though.

I thought Rhino sucked in ECW. It was the beginning of his career, but I hated him, and just didn't buy his push.
The fans chanted "Bullsh*t!" when he beat RVD clean, because Van Damme had beaten MUCH better wrestlers year after year.
I wasn't happy when I sat down to watch the very first TNA impact on Spike TV to hear that he was there.
To my surprise, he's improved drastically. He really did great in that 30 minute long title match with Angle and Christian. Never thought I'd see him do a flying clothesline off the top rope. So I've changed my mind about him completely.
That said, he has gotten stale, and I would love for Tomko to turn face, and Rhino turn heel and join Christian's Coalition. He can say Christian finally convinced him the right way to get to the top, building off the 'tough love' aspect of their feud.

He's got a cool name, he's got a cool nick name.....he's got a cool move set and he aint that bad in the ring. I enjoy his work but I'm starting to agree with the original poster. Once again he's lost in the shuffle.

Right now, he needs a refresher for his character.

I'd mark for an all gray rubber suit complete with horn attachment. I'm the only one, and I'm a huge nerd, but I'd mark.

I was never surprised that he didn't make it in the WWE, because much like Taz he's just too small in stature, so obviously they weren't going to push him as a monster.
As for TNA, he's kinda just there, he can pull good matches from time to time, but mostly he's just filler. If they ever get a Second tier Championship for the mid carders unable to compete in the X Division, I'm sure he'll be in the running to hold it, but until then he's just going to be throw in fued after fued that becomes less meaningless. Eventually he'll be fueding with Bob Backlund or something.
