If badmouthing your place of employment were really grounds for a fine, 95% of Americans would have their pay docked on a weekly basis. Plenty of us badmouth our workplaces, but plenty of us aren't public figures viewed by 1.5 million people weekly, and airing our grievances in a public place. I love 'Cide, and I feel he should get to write whatever the hell he wants, but it's not like TNA's going all fascist here or something. It's the way of the business world. I'm sorry, but I still disagree with this. Homicide didn't air any grievances over the airwaves. He just voiced his support of Konnan in writing on his myspace page. Anyone care to guess if Angle or Jarrett would be fined for voicing negative opinions about TNA online? I agree with TNA on the fining of Homicide. Any employer would do it, WWE, ROH, ANYONE. I believe the Boogeyman once posted some rather negative comments about WWE on his myspace some time ago, and I don't think he was ever fined for them.

Again, does anyone know what 'Cide said? If its bashing TNA then I have while I don't agree with it, they are well with in their right to do so. However the article says he was fined for "posting a writing supporting Konnan on his myspace page" which could be anything, especially with Konnan coming off of the kidney transplant and the complications afterward.

First of all, it's a fining. It's not like he got suspended or anything.
Second, Why should we let Homicide off the hook for doing that? Cause you guys love him so much? He was in ROH before? You guys hate TNA? That doesn't excuse what he wrote on his myspace. Besides, if they let Homicide off the hook, then that will slowly turn into people trashing TNA in a lot more places and you can't have that.
But I guess must of you would like and jump for joy for that shit to happen......
.......Now why the SMURF would Jarrett complain about his own damn company?!?!

I'm sort of mixed on the Homocide issue. How much was the fine? Exactly what did he say about Konnan and TNA?

It depends on what was said, and besides didn't Kip and BG James openly say they would go back to WWE on a radio show? I think that's far worse than a mere blog on a web page.

That's why we have all this kind of stuff happening, cause of BG & Kip. That's why TNA regulates interviews and stuff now and does things to make sure their image doesn't decrease. Besides, not like you see any more Kip James interviews anywhere. Hell, I barely see him on TNA. That's a good thing, though.

What jerks. Guess there's the next guy to get out of his contract. Well he strongly hinted at RIE that as soon as his contract is up (which is apparently really soon), he's back.

Attempting to silence people who make negative comments about the company is probably the least effective way to improve public image. Actions like that only further enrage the people involved, and does nothing to change the situation. Any effective business supervisor will tell you that harsh discipline is not near as effecting as actively rewarding positive behavior. Rather than punishing Homicide for his comments, TNA would do better to try sitting down with him and working his grievance out. But hey, feel free to further piss him off TNA. The sooner he leaves you, the sooner I get to see him back in ROH.

Wow, I was hoping that TNA would go after Shamrock ever since he retired from MMA, but I didn't realistically think it would happen. I would so totally mark out for an Angle Vs. Shamrock match.

Didn't Joe make a reference about "Tripping over bad booking" earlier this year? And also, I remember reading a transcript of a interview he did where they asked him who'd win between Young and Roode , and he said something along the lines of "Who cares?"

Yeah, both of those happened. I'd have to read what Homicide said before passing judgment on this. But I do recall him coming out at Respect is Earned after the TNA talent pull in a dark segment and his exact words were close to: "This is the best company in the world ...... yeah that's right I said it, and I don't give a **** who hears it."

I did mark a bit for that as everyone in the building didn't expect to see Homicide there at all. I'm certain he'll be back in ROH one day.
