The only thing I don't like about this is that it appears it's going to make Gabe an actual performer. I'm never a big fan of authority figures, although this is being masterfully executed.
Still, it is creepy as hell. It would be kind of neat if, somehow, Paul Heyman was behind this since he used to be Gabe's boss.

I wonder how long they've been planning this.
It doesn't seem like the type of thing that you just wing as you go along. It could be, but it isn't likely.

ROH just knows its crowd. And knows its probably swerved all of us. DAMN YOU SHOW 161!

Arguably as far back as FYF: Dayton when Morishima first crushed Whitmer. More than likely Respect is Earned. That of course depends on what this actually ends up leading to.

I doubt Gabe will be a performer. It's just a rebellion against all of ROH and the authority figure is Gabe so why not.

Maybe performer wasn't the best word to use because kind of implies being a wrestler. Personality makes more sense now that I think about it. There's almost no way this can't turn out to be awesome. Now I really can't wait to go to my first ROH show -- the Detroit show, which I believe is the night before the 161st show.

So THAT'S what "Abused Society" meant! I saw some stuff that said that at the Edison show this past Saturday, I blatantly ignored it. Where were you, HMark? I walked up and got a ticket, Section C (near the entrance ramp), Row 7, I think, wearing my usual gear: a backwards Mets hat and my "WWSJD" Samoa Joe shirt (thanks for that one, Crappers!). Well, according to that blog, the picture on the second page, the /other part of the site, may be the skyline of Chicago from about a century ago. So I looked closely at it...and that sure as hell looks like a smoke cloud in it. Great Chicago Fire, maybe? As for the people involved, I have to believe there's more than just Pearce/Whitmer/Rave going on here. I certainly think they're all involved (like I said, Pearce's promo, the fact that Morishima squashed all of them, Pearce's connections with Chicago, etc.), but would the crowd really buy that it's just them? I mean, we know all these guys; in fact, they've all wrestled VERY recently, and Pearce just had a major promo featured on Respect is Earned. Not to say a stable of those three working together wouldn't kick ass, but if ROH is going through such lengths to promote something like this, you'd figure the payoff would be more, well, interesting than just three regulars suddenly banding together. Hell, we had that with the No Remorse Corps. Something fishy is happening here. Possibly something big. </dons Jack Nicholson "Chinatown" gear> We've got some snoopin' to do. And I'm heading for the ROH boards to look into this. This is weirder than Hero doing it last year.

Could someone explain what Hero did?
I missed that.
Did he just flame the board? Just curious.

Here's the post, which was in response the the mirror in Dayton post And my bad, it was Edison. And forget HMark, we need a PROFESSIONAL INVESTIGATOR. And there's only one person that can do this right.

What the hell is this guy talking about? I was at both shows and they were on every single chair in long island and most, if not all, at edison.
