Interesting that Whitmer and Pearce are neither even mentioned in the talent lists for Death Before Dishonor Weekend. Could they be held out for September at show 161?

So now in Gabe's "drop it" thread, the guy who was running the P161 blog has posted:

"This is not an angle.

Gabe has made that clear in a number of public and private ways.

If this does turn out, in any way, to be part of a wrestling angle, I am done with ROH. I will not support a company that tries to bully their fans and supporters with guilt, threats, and fear."

So apparently Gabe sent him a threatening e-mail...that said, though, the moron posted a bunch of shit on the blog that shouldn't have been made public (the name of the guy who bought the abusedsociety site...the picture of Gabe and wife...).

Either way, I'm very intrigued. ROH will likely carry this out all through August, with some new hints and whatnot dropped every so often. Again, like I said, I'm certain this involves guys like Pearce, Whitmer, and Rave, but the enormity of it seems to hint towards something even bigger.

No matter where this is going, do not ever let it be said that Gabe doesn't know how to capture people's attention. Playing off of the whole viral marketing stuff of Cloverfield, Alpha/Omega, and The Dark Knight Joker stuff is brilliant. \

OK, I'm trying to catch up with things here, so can someone tell me when and where Show 161 is going to be? Because if it's close and I have the scratch, I'm giving serious thought to getting tickets and coming, Because I have this feeling this is going to be big.

Which only makes me think more and more that Adam Pearce is involved. Although that's probably a foregone conclusion at this point.

Thread just got locked, and I proceed to get even more confused. If this is an angle, it may very well be one of the coolest executed ever. But even if it's not, it's a testament to how incredible the booking's gotten in Ring of Honor that even after a gigantic, long ass rant, we're still questioning whether it's real or not. I've never been more excited to be a Ring of Honor fan.

That storyline is very awesome. The addition of the Gabe pics on the main page of the abusedsociety is the icing on the cake and proof that it is not fake.

I saw someone here saying that it could be a long shot and it could be Heyman... that would be so cool. The New Heyman Society, NHSociety. I hope they all swerve us and it has nothing to do with Pearce, Whitmer, Rave and Jacobs, but I would mark hard if it was a storyline to put Jacobs in the main-event.

With all the info we have it seems like Pearce is involved in some way in this story line, but it seems like there must be someone behind the scenes controlling all of this. Its going to be wild figuring out who's behind all this. And if it is real then this is all creepy as hell.
