I remember hearing it on an old B&V show. Who knows if it's accurate, but even if it's significantly less. With all their high salary wrestlers, Brock Lesnar wouldn't be a good person to sign anyway. Well, I'll agree to disagree on Lesnar. But, it's no coincidence that the rash of signings and firings are coming on the verge of a new TV deal with Spike TV. In July, Spike re-upped with UFC, and handed them $100 million to stay, and that's with UFC not drawing a much higher rating than TNA. Now, I don't think they'll offer TNA that much, but they'll pay them a chunk of change to stay, plus they'll help out with talent, too. SpikeTV already pays a good part of Sting's contract, and I'd assume they're doing the same with Lesnar, and pushing for him, considering he was a big star on their network a few years back. I don't think signing Lesnar would drastically affect TNA's bottom line that much, especially if they're shedding dead weight in the interim. I'd be very content with a TNA show featuring Brock Lesnar, and not featuring VKM and everyone in my sig.

Okay, I can see this working out better than before. I also agree that dead weight needs to be dropped.

Well he'll probably never go back to WWE and I don't watch TNA much but it'd be good to see Brock when I do.

Agreed. I don't want to see him anywhere near TNA. As for Doug Basham, I bet that he ends up in ROH fairly soon. Didn't Gabe try to sign him a few months ago? Sure you don't mean Doug Williams? I know this was four pages back but let me clarify: When Doug Basham was released from the WWE in that flurry of firings a few months ago, a vocal group of ROHbots were screaming like lunatics on the ROH forums to bring him in. He got scooped up quickly by TNA if I right remember, but he was definitely not offered a contract, since it was before ROH started doing contracts.

I want Lesnar back in wrestling but, I was hoping for a show that was watchable.
I am surprised that Lynn is gone since he was an agent and on of the original members of the roster but, then again they didn't do squat with him until recently even though he had been healthy and working indys since late '05. Bentley was more wasted talent that will hopefully get picked up by ROH or WWE and get a chance to shine.
Basham and Damaja, meh. I like Damaja's look but, didn't care outside of that.
Runt has a wrestling school that he is more invested in than preforming so good for him.

I would personally love to see Lesnar again, but I don't think it'll do much for TNA. If Angle didn't do it, Brock won't 3 years after he was last seen on TV and the casual fan has probably forgotten all about him.
