-With TNA looking at getting 2 hours in the fall, PWI has been able to confirm that they have opened negotiations with former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar to bring him in to the company. Kurt Angle is one of the main people behind this push to get Lesnar. Lesnar already had a somewhat secret meeting with Dixie Carter in Nashville, and when Angle was over in Japan recently he was negotiating with Brock as well. Angle talked up Dixie Carter and the better schedule and how he wouldn't burn out as he did with WWE's schedule.
-There have been internal discussions dating back to June within TNA to begin a real wellness policy.
-TNA is in the process of dropping many talents from their roster. Jerry Lynn asked for his release, and he received it. It was as simple as him wanting out, and he was granted his leave. Matt Bentley's contract expires in 2 weeks, and he will be gone as soon as that happens. Brother Runt is gone from the company as well. Then the final 2 names gone are Doug Basham & Damaja.
-Andrew Martin did not endear himself to the TNA locker room AT ALL. He rubbed many people the wrong way in his first week within the company.

Not too surprised about the releases, and isn't Lesnar under some sort of contract that prevents him from wrestling in the States? Or has that changed?
I'd mark if he came to TNA though.

I thought Brock had like a 10 year no-compete clause in his contract if he left the WWE.
I will say though, if they could unearth a way to get him into TNA, that would be a very nice pickup.

Well, so much for Serotonin. ..I think WWE would give Bentley a developmental deal.
Yep, all those guys are already gone from the roster page.

Added the Test bit. It came up at the very end of the audio.

Drop anyone older than 35. That gets rid of Jarrett, Nash, VKM (I believe), Dudleys, Backland (if he was ever really on the roster), gets rid of the Steiners, etc etc. Keep Raven in as a booker/manager, keep Angle in as an authority figure. Let the young lights shine.

I don't really see what Test could add to TNA. He looked very lethargic in his outing at the PPV,IMO. It's not like he has a huge fan following to begin with.

I think Brock would be better for TNA than Angle has been thus far.
He's younger, doesn't have a laundry list of nagging injuries, and supposedly isn't batshit crazy.

Brock Lesnar joining the TNA roster?
Wow, the only thing needed for my level of abhorrence for current TNA to actually increase.

Drop anyone older than 35. That gets rid of Jarrett, I seriously doubt that will happen, since him and his dad started that company. Thats about as likely as Triple H getting his release

Isn't Lesner in that 10-Year thing about not joining American promotions? That's why he's only wrestled in Japan?

It would be awesome if Brock came to TNA. I don't mind TNA bringing in former WWE talent as long as it is good former WWE talent. Like him or loath him he is a big name and a former world champ and could boost their profile somewhat.
If they would stop wasting their money bringing in people like Kip James and Test, people that hardly anybody cares about.

Huh. Too bad on some of the releases, but, really, its not like those guys were doing very much. C'est la vie.
Hopefully, Test isn't around too long.
If TNA wants to go around signing bigger wrestlers or established wrestlers, then Brock is the type of talent they SHOULD seek, not Test or whatever.

There go the rumors about Homicide and Shelley being amongst the four contracts done by the end of the month.
So what does everyone think about the futures of the five who are gone?
I see Martyr getting a WWE developmental deal, the Bashams going to the indies, Lynn looking for a paycheck, and Brother Runt making special appearances here and there in small indies.

So much for the Bashams doing big things in TNA. Eh, and Bentley sucked anyway.

Well, Shane/Bentley/Martyr is Shawn Michaels' cousin or something, plus was trained by him. I could see him getting a contract, even if it is a development contract or something mysterydriver will probably be happy with Lynn getting his release. I see Lynn either retiring or going part time or something. The other guys are gonna be in Indy city.

Brother Runt didn't really burn his brdiges with WWE, did he? I think if the rumors that D'Von wants out, even if Ray stays behind are true, then we might see them in WWE.
The Dudleyz in WWE was just such a perfect fit.
