TNA News: Two Hour Impact, Angle's Theme, More

Wednesday TNA news!
- Multichannel News reports today that SpikeTV and TNA are close to finalizing a deal that will make Impact two hours and give TNA more live specials on the network. The live specials will be similar to the old WCW Clash of the Champions specials. TNA's current deal with SpikeTV expires in September, so one would presume that the new deal, if finalized, would begin in October. Check out the full article here.
- The Slammiversary DVD will be released on 8/21.
- Kurt Angle's current TNA theme is by John Cena's cousin, The Trademarc.
- The Impact replay on Saturday ended up doing a 0.5 rating. The Road to Hard Justice preview show which aired before the Impact replay on Saturday did a 0.3 rating.

I hope it does happen. The current one hour show tries to cram too much into a single hour. Kind of like a 2 hour show that has been sped up to fit everyone in. Now they have a chance to showcase talent properly and maybe build feuds better too.

a 2 hr. TNA show would allow them to not have to firce too much into one hour and will hopefully make it a better product. That and no sign of Russo

2 hour Impact means 1 hour of commercials instead of just 30 minutes. |
