- Multichannel News reports today that SpikeTV and TNA are close to finalizing a deal that will make Impact two hours and give TNA more live specials on the network. The live specials will be similar to the old WCW Clash of the Champions specials. TNA's current deal with SpikeTV expires in September, so one would presume that the new deal, if finalized, would begin in October. Check out the full article here. Is it finally happening!?!? lol My bet is still on. If this goes through, I've got my check for Ted DiBiase's Heart of David Ministries ready to go.

I though you didn't watch Impact anymore. No, and according to ratings, neither did a sizeable portion of the audience last Thursday. It's sad when I had more fun shooting the stuff with you guys about Impact then ACTUALLY WATCHING Impact.

When they get 2 hours is when some fun should start.
TNA is planning more house shows next year. Two hour shows means weekly tapings instead of tapings every two weeks.
Looks like the work schedule will pick up. I'm wondering how that'll affect some of the talent.
Time will tell.

Sharkboy Sunday Nights!
With all the pac-man stuff being brought up in the main stream media, one thing about TNA is very clear. Everybody thinks the promotions name is idiotic.
I have no clue why I just posted that in this thread. Oh well. SHARKBOY RULES!

Bout time, and the idea of getting something like Clash of the Champions is great news for them.
The positives: apparently, some of the guys backstage have been telling some of the X-Division guys "Don't worry, once the other hour comes, things will even out better". Also, better structure, and we KNOW this writing crew is capable of good writing...but can they do it for more than, say, two months at a stretch?
The negatives: The potential for disaster still exists, since, again, even if we do know these writers CAN put on a good show...we still don't know for sure.
Oh yeah, and Test is still part of the roster.
Cross your fingers.

Two hours? This means more storielines without sense? More swerves? More wacky backstage skits and more time for drama? Well, I'm already looking forward to TNAW: TeleNovela Action Wrestling!

I think this bears repeating, after seeing all of the preliminary pessimism. Let's not count TNA out until we actually see what they do with that second hour.

No, and according to ratings, neither did a sizeable portion of the audience last Thursday. Hey, you're just cranky because you went on record that two hour impact would NEVER EEEEEEVER happen. The second hour was inevitable. Now they have to fire Russo and hire a booker before this ship takes on too much water.

I think it's just doubtful he'll get back into wrestling. Two hours is obviously great news. I enjoyed the actual two-hour special they did with the Christian/Rhino cage match and Angle's debut match (the one with PPV replay matches didn't count). If TNA gave at least as much time to matches as Smackdown does, the show could be very good with that roster (well, the good parts of the roster).

Now granted Trademarc and Cena are both grown Men who've got bills to pay, but I gotta think deep down it probably irks Cena.

Unless they did something retarded like only let the same people in the 2nd night or something Only way that would work logically is if they taped a show on Thursday, aired it on Thursday, then taped the next weeks episode on Friday.

That hasn't stopped Wrestling companies from doing something like that before.
