Actually, I have a different idea of how to determine the X Champ and it involves the heavyweight title.
9 qualifier matches for the heavyweight title match as singles competition
there will a tenth qualifier and this will be the 9-man X-Division Championship Match (Maybe Ultimate X,maybe not). Each of the losers of the previous 9 qualifier matches will choose a man to represent them in this match and the winning representative will allow the man who chose him to be the final competitor for the heavyweight title.
