Yeah...that's almost assuredly the Briscoes.
Maybe...just maybe...161 involves Steen and Generico using assistance to win the ladder match with a crew of their own.

I have a question. Does anyone know if Manhattan Mayhem was the first time the Project161 shirts started popping up? Because there's a video on Youtube that purports to be a communique about 161 that has a picture of a kid wearing the 161 shirt in it.
The video was posted 2 weeks ago.

It's officially the Briscoes in those pictures. It's been two pictures now of what appear to be two brothers, plus the Briscoes played football all through high school, and probably would've played in college, too.
...Then again, that could just be what they want us to think! ...But yeah, Briscoes better be careful.
Wonder if there will eventually be a reference to them on the DVD, if the Briscoes will get word that pictures of them are popping up on some creepy site with images of nooses and stuff.

Maybe it's just me, but if you look at the one on the right really closely I'd bet anything that that's Mark's face.

Oddly enough, the bandanas were a dead giveaway to me. ;D

Another name to throw in the mix here - Alex Shelley. Here's why:
1) He is the fourth "founding member" of Generation Next.
2) In their last ROH match, Shelley and Chris Sabin took on the Briscoes. That could explain the pictures.
3) The blogs mention that "they" have been in and out many times. It also mentioned that they would basically be "welcomed back" without anyone being the wiser. Just imagine the reaction the Motor City Machineguns would get if they returned at the third pay-per-view.
4) MCMG are stuck in jobber mode in TNA. I mean, Shelley lost to Shark Boy, of all people.
5) Somehow he's booked for PWG's Battle of Los Angeles. So let me get this straight: Alex Shelley is able to "pull the strings" of TNA management, but no one else can? That doesn't seem right to me.

I would mark so much. But would they still have the MCMG name?

if they're the "motor city machine guns" in tna, they can just change it to the "murder city machine guns" like they have been doing.

Strangely enough, I was talking 161 with a friend a few days ago. With Evans/Strong/Aries each having their own group, Shelley's name came up as a possibility. That could also be a tie-in for Jacobs as well.

Shelley being the leader of PROJECT 161 with Jacobs and Sabin involved would be easily the greatest thing in ROH history. There's no way I couldn't mark out and straight buy that DVD when it comes out.
Shelley, Jacobs and Sabin >>>>>> No Remorse Corps > Vulture Squad >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Faction with Erick Stevens
