Konnan Update

We previously reported that Konnan was finally released from the hospital on 8/18. Konnan began suffering from diabetes, so he needs insulin shots to regulate his blood sugar. He also contracted mild pneumonia. At this point, Konnan needs treatment about four times a week to keep his body from rejecting his new kidney. He is very weak, and walking is a chore for him. He hopes to return to AAA as a heel manager in two months.

At least he's staying positive about his next bookings. He seems like a very tough-willed person.

I got the chance to meet Konnan back when he was wrestling in WCW in like 98, he was a tremendous guy and super nice to the fans. I wish Konnan nothing but the absolute best!!!
