TNA AND UFC RATINGS by Dave Scherer @ 11:12:15 PM on 9/7/2007
Last night's Impact did a 1.0 cable rating. While it was lower that the 1.1 of the last three weeks, it was really only down 0.03 of a point since those shows did a 1.05 and last night's broadcast did a 1.02.
The UFC special that aired after Impact did a 0.5 cable rating while The Ultimate Fighter Unleashed that followed that did a 0.5 as well.

Looks like a lot of people were right about TNA pulling a 1.0 this week.

Not really... UFC has the highest PPV buy rates between boxing, wrestling and all that sport stuff. UFC is EASILY bigger than TNA is. ...Rating wise, then yes - TNA might be better in that respect. But it's 'new TNA stuff against old UFC fights and a preview, so I don't know if that's concrete evidence.

Overall. UFC does better in Spike's target audience of men 18-35. TNA apparently gets more women, kids and/or old dudes, none of which do Spike any good.

Am I the only one who doesn't care about ratings? I mean, wrestling is wrestling.

Isn't Keller the guy who said in 3 reports that Shelley wasn't gone from TNA, was gone from TNA, or wasn't gone from TNA but was doing PWG shows?
...cause if so I'm not quite sure how right he is.

No, Keller never reported three different things on Alex Shelley. That was this board, who turned two posters saying basically the same thing into OMG GUYZ TWO REPORTZZZ, and one report by a poster that was just flat out wrong or made-up. And Meltzer reported the same rating as Keller. Scherer was wrong.
