I do remeber a podcast-a-go-go where he announced a main event card.

Commissioner Saget is indeed a member of the braintrust for Chikara, although his comedic commitments keep his involvement sporadic in the extreme. He's appeared at the end of the Young Lions Cup IV, night 3 show to announce Jigsaw vs. Icarus in a Lucha De Apuestas Mask vs. Hair match, as well as a few appearances by Podcast. Chikara under the reign of Bob is a good thing, although honestly, Gran Akuma needs a Danny Tanner style sit down talk. He's far too angry.

OUT.

Bob Saget would be at more shows but he thinks performing in front of 15 people at a high school gym is a tad below him for a regular job.

And the fact that you've never watched a Chikara show in your life just became apparent. First off, they regularly perform for more than 15 people, and they don't run high school gyms. They run the ECW Arena(Where they recently drew 350 for Running in The Red, a new company record), The Barnesville Thunderdome, The Reading War Memorial Coliseum, and several other great venues in the Philly, Pennsylvania area.

I just saw that chikara video and there are, at most, 50 people in that high school gym.

And there were well over 50 in attendence that night.

I swear, some people will take any reason to dislike something without actually watching it.

Performing in front of 50 people or so on a regular basis is beneath him.
