Kevin Nash is pushing TNA to sign Scott Hall and bring back Sean Waltman. Nash says that Hall is back in good shape and is now clear headed. As reported last week, TNA has already sent feelers in to look at Hall and has expressed interest in Waltman.

Nah, this would be a bad idea.
Both are washed up and nobody has cared about them since 1998.

I would mind seeing Hall if he is clean, sober and back in shape. As for Waltman, just no.

I'd like to see Waltman and Hall. Waltman has really improved a lot since coming to AAA. And I'm a mark for The Outsiders so I'm game.

Scott Hall is still a recognizable talent. After all, he was the most over guy in WCW at the end without even being there. Then again, the fact he wasn't there was probably the reason he was the most over guy in WCW. Besides, Scott Hall could really help behind the scenes with teaching the younger guys things like... his punches. And I hear he's good at creative? Though minute he gets drunk I'd say kick him.
Sean Waltman doesn't have the recognition. What did he do last? Be a jobber? And what is he most known as? X-Pac. There's no point in bringing him in, especially with TNA in the condition it's in. Though me may help the X-Division somewhat, because when he was on he was on.

And yet if this happens, we'll all blame Russo and demand that Nash get more backstage segments...

Maybe TNA could, I don't know, try to do something new? Do they even bother calling themselves "the future of professional wrestling" anymore?

TNA could sign roughly 597 ex-1990s wrestlers that would be worse than a sober Scott Hall.
1. He lives by Orlando, so it costs nothing to fly him in. 2. He says he's saved up his money, so like Nash, you barely have to pay him anything...Nash is practically doing this for fun from what I've heard. 3. He's already said a few months back that he'd be more interested in working in TNA only as an agent, a member of the creative team, or as a mentor for young guys to talk out their problems with.
I say bring in Hall. Seems like a pretty bright dude when he's got his head on straight, plus you can bring him on TV in a backstage role like Nash.

As long as he's not wearing that Elvis suit that he was back in 04, then I say give him a shot and if he mucks up, then get rid of him.

So no one remembers that Hall is back and doing good in wrestling now?

So no one remembers that Hall is back and doing good in wrestling now? People do, but want to see how he does on a consistent basis. He might do good for one month or so, then suddenly no-show a TV taping, then a PPV, then he's gone from the company, so the jury is still out on him.

I know it has been said over and over, but its time to push the younger, better, home-grown talent, not to re-create 1998.
You will never have guys get to the Hall/Nash level of overness if they never get the chance.

If they basically just joked around in Paparrazi-ish skits, then sure. But if they're going to be a stable that actually wrestles... Not so much.

I wouldn't be totally against Waltman; he showed he can still go during his last TNA run in 2005, had some great matches with AJ and Jerry Lynn, as well as his Candido Cup winning team with Alex Shelley.
Problem with him is...he's unreliable. The reason he left TNA in 2005 was that big mystery where nobody knew where the hell he was.
As for Hall, I don't see why they should bring him in, unless it's just to compliment Nash in the various backstage skits Nash does.

I can see it now: Hall turned into James Storms drinking buddy. Hall and Nash together though as Doctor Nash and Professor Hall would be Gold I bet.
