I would like it. I have have heard so much about ROH but never watched it. I would be willing to give it a shot. (It would replace TNA so I'm game)

Wasn't Versus the network that was interested in CZW as well? I remember reading about that about a month or so ago. Yeah, that was the rumor.

I'm assuming this isn't going to be a deal that hurts them since Gabe has constantly said he'll never take a TV deal like ECW did.
But if this means they aren't changing their product much or that they're not going to lose boatloads of money than congrats. It's a great move for them.

I dont know why people are hating on VS. Network. Channel is still shaking the whole, outdoor life, image. For what it is, its an awesome channel. They now have NHL, College Football, and a lot of MMA. It would be a great fit for ROH, and if true, an opportunity they should not pass up.

I'm holding my breathe until ROH confirms this, but if they do... I'll need new pants.

Oh and it's not 3rd rate MMA, WEC is home to some of the best "small" fighters. I was referring to them as 3rd rate by terms of the important issues. - popularity - profit - familiarity - revenue streams You get the idea now.

Yeah, this is on the extended package of Time Warner.
I'm starting to really like the Vs. channel. College football, MMA almost whenever you want and now maybe ROH. Good stuff.

Any one know if one with Time Warner Cable could get this channel? Yeah, I know it's on my digital sports tier here. And it's weird that Vs. is the company mentioned. As has been said, there was a rumor that CZW was negotioating with them for a show. So it leads me to believe: -Johnson just took the CZW story and applied it here as a rumor. -Zandig heard about this, and fed someone bad info saying they sent a tape and were the ones negotiating the deal. -Both are true, ROH and CZW are negotiating deals, and Vs. might be doing a back-to-back deal to air either or both. All speculation. And while I'm no big fan of CZW, I'd have no problem watching either, or hopefully, both.

Months ago, VS was thought to be an easy destination for TNA if they couldn't get two hours out of any other network. Seems like VS has been interested in pro wrestling for a while. ROH would be cool on there, I'll DVR the shit out of that.

Hmm, interesting. I have this channel and didn't even know it til I looked for it after I read this. I hope it comes through.
I'd be much more likely to watch this than order any DVDs.

If this is true, then congrats to them. It's been a long time coming. And a long time coming from me, since I predicted that this channel would pick ROH up sooner or later.

I'm not celebrating until we know for sure what's up.
But if it's true, we have to believe a few things:
A) They're not being asked to radically change their product. I'm sure they'd have to clean up some swearing, but ROH has always been adamant about not wanting to change what kind of wrestling and storylines they present in order to appease "network suits". Gabe's a bit paranoid about potentially ending up like Paul E. did.
B) This is a good money making opportunity for ROH. Cary isn't really known for blowing money, as ROH's relatively slow expansion (although, really, for a 5 year old company, they've grown pretty damn quickly in some ways) has shown, and I doubt he'd take a TV that cost ROH to uphold.
C) That Vs. truly is interested in wrestling, given the recent news concerning CZW, as well. I'd love to have both on TV, even if I'm not a huge CZW fan.
Regardless, I hope it's true, as this might prove to be the ultimate "compromise": ROH on TV without having to radically alter the product.
And I have Cablevision, so I do get Vs....but it's in the 100's, so I can't watch it on a regular TV. Thankfully, we've got the digital.
Ooh, but I know my friends in south Jersey get Vs. on the regular channels on Comcast!
Ok, ok, I better stay calm. No confirmation yet, it's all just rumors...it's all just rumors...stay calm...

This would be the next logical step since they got PPV and there was a rumor bit the other day saying ROH would be in NYC this week to finalize a day that'd see them expand. Which is pretty cool since they only got on PPV a few months ago.
I am a bit skeptical since it came from a guy who knows a guy on a message board. But we'll see and hopefully comes to fruition

The handoffs between programing will be great. And now we leave our coverafe of the Tour D France and go to ROH Wrestling
Of course Pro Cycling is the only sport where more participants are on stuff than wrestling.
