Ring Of HonorFrontier Fieldhouse September 15, 2007- 8:00pm belltime (PPV Taping) 9807 Sayre Ave. Chicago Ridge, IL 60415 RESULTSPreshow1) Ernie Osiris & Silas Young defeat Bobby Dempsey & Rhett Titus when Young pinned Titus. Main Show~The announced name for the PPV is "Man Up". 1) Nigel McGuinness defeats Naomichi Marufuji, Chris Hero, and Claudio Castagnoli with a lariat on Claudio. Excellent match. 2) Rocky Romero defeats Matt Cross with a hard kick to the head. 3) Austin Aries defeats Davey Richards. Richards used a ton of headbutts, german suplexes, and a crossface. Acting very Benoit, as was reported in Manhattan. Aries wins with a 450. 4) Roderick Strong defeats Erick Stevens with a Gibson Driver to give the NRC a 2-1 victory. AWESOME match, and a total stiff chop fest. Strong was bleeding from the chest. 5) ROH World Championship: Takeshi Morishima retains the ROH World Championship over Bryan Danielson via ref stoppage. Morishima continued pummeling Danielson's eye until the referee stopped the match. 6) ROH World Tag Team Championship Ladder Match: The Briscoes retain the ROH Tag Team Championships over Kevin Steen & El Generico in what was described as "The greatest match I've ever seen in my life. Too many spots to name. Package piledriver on a ladder as well as a Jay Driller. Jay pulled down the belts." The Briscoes were both bloodied and pretty messed up. Match went around 26-27 minutes. ~After the match The Briscoes are attacked by Tyler Black, Jimmy Jacobs, and NECRO BUTCHER! Jay is hogtied to the apparatus that held up the belts, and lifted 10 feet in the air bleeding. Jimmy stands under him cutting a promo getting covered in blood. Jimmy opened his mouth and drank his blood. Jacobs said the Project was not over, and called the Briscoes drunkards. (Pics on Pg.38) ^^ ~INTERMISSION~ 7) Mitch Franklin defeats Alex "Sugarfoot" Payne. 8) Amazing Kong & Daizee Haze defeat Sara Del Rey & Lacey when Daizee pins Lacey. 9) BJ Whitmer & Brent Albright mauled The YRR of Chasyn Rance & Kenny King. YRR got squashed. ~The stable of Adam Pearce, Brent Albright, & BJ Whitmer is the "Hangman 3" 10) Tyler Black vs Jack Evans went to a no contest when the Age of the Fall interfered. The match was then made a 6 man street fight with Irish Airborne being added. The match again ended in a no contest when Necro Butcher knocked out the referee. Wild ass brawl. 11) Delirious defeats Matt Sydal in a good (not great) match to end the show. Fans chanted "Thank you Sydal".

If Danielson shows up, I'd be surprised if he wrestled, although, Dragon's not the guy who will let a little thing like a broken orbital bone keep him from putting on a kick ass show.

Right now, it's a little early, and I don't want to know spoilers, so I'm just hoping this PPV gets a kick ass name

You can wrestle with a broken orbital bone (ala johnny swinger in ecw circa '00) I think it's the detached retina/loss of vision in that eye part that is keeping him from wrestling. But as for the PPV I have 3rd row tix and can't wait for it

They need to do a PPV in Boston already... Sadly, Boston's been notorious for being one of the more "meh" ROH crowds. Though I think I remember reading that the last couple of shows up there have been better received, so that may change. For now, ROH is going with the venues they know they get good reactions in (and their bigger crowds)...though I'm still a little confused about Edison. I love going to the shows there and everything, but while it can be a very strong crowd, Jersey crowds are a bit unpredictable, as we've got a nice handful of jerks who like to show up now and then. But Jersey's been a consistently profitable market for ROH, so I guess it's sort of rewarding us.

Their latest show in Boston this month had a great crowd, very rowdy yet also respectful.

I'm positive that something will go down that is 161 related in the ladder match.

I don't think the Briscoes will lose the titles (Steen/Generico could split and finally go their separate ways) but P161 will have some form of intereference. Whether it's physical, or something else, who knows.

I think the show ends with the Briscoes standing tall .... aaaaand then laid out by a returning (god I hope) Alex Shelley and his gang.

If he wins, he will be officially, not the Greatest Wrestler in the World, but in the UNIVERSE.

Holy smurf! YES! BRYAN DANIELSON VS. TAKESHI MORISHIMA FOR THE TITLE AT MY FIRST ROH SHOW! OMG! I was praying to JBL to this rematch to take place Saturday, but I didn't think it'd actually happen considering Danielson's condition. Wow, I'm freakin' excited now. Saturday can't come soon enough. I have a feeling the Best Wrestler in the World will reclaim his crown this weekend

I have this feeling that ONE of the titles are going to change at this show. Call me crazy but the amount of heat on both the main event and the tag title matches should be off the charts freakin' insane and I think a title change in the final match of the show (whatever it ends up being) will be the only way to top the previous title match.
