I might actually know a way of finding out for sure. Shane is from Beaver (no jokes please), a suburb of Pittsburgh. If I remember correctly, he was a math teacher at Beaver High School before he started wrestling. If he is indeed working at Target, it would probably be the new(er) one in Center Twp/Monaca. My hometown is Freedom, which is roughly five minutes away from Beaver and ten minutes from that Target. If I can get down there in the next day or two, I'll check things out. My eighth grade algebra teacher works there as well... if it came down to it, I could always ask her.
Off Topic 1: Several ECW events and a few pay-per-views were held in the "Golden Dome." The dome, known around here as "CCBC" (standing for "Community College of Beaver County"), is in Center Twp/Monaca.
Off Topic 2: My girlfriend lives roughly two miles from the school where The Franchise and Mick Foley were trained. That place is a hole.

I would seriously hope Fuji pulls off some of his famous ribs on customers who are being dicks...

Doesn't Shane Douglas have a college degree and a teachers license? I'm sure he could get a job teaching, somewhere. As for the Target job, I don't really care if he works there. I mean, it could be worse, he could have been on WSX.

I couldn't help but take a quick glance for a bucket of ceremonial salt. I think it would be great if he had one in the event that someone tried to get through without showing him their ticket.

You: So, Mr. Fuji, has anyone ever tried to sneak into a movie here? Fuji: Oh yes, they try...ha ha...very devious...but no one more devious than Mr. Fuji! Ha ha ha! And then he throws salt in your eyes.

Last I'd heard, he had a wrestling school in the area as well. I've seen a couple of his students in action, and though I know at least one of them trained with others as well, he's pretty damn good. I don't know how much of the training Fuji does himself, if any.

The Franchise works at a Franchise? that, my friends, is complete irony.
I bet Shane cusses out every person who goes through his Target who buys WWE action figures.

At least he's the manager. That is true. He could be working as a fry cook at Red Robin or something. Still, I think it's a shame that a guy with that much talent could be working in a big box store. But then again, if being away from the environment of pro wrestling that might be fostering his addictions is going to help him, I'm all for it. Plus, they could have signings there every once in a while. And I like Target.

This is why if I were a wrestler I wouldn't be a mark for myself & I'd go where the money is. Not saying thats what he did but it's what Justin Credible did.

How sweet would it be if he won Employee of the Month. In the tradition of Floor Manager Bob Whittaker, in the tradition of CSR Emily Tilsburg, all the Cart Boys, Bill in Sporting Goods; I accept this 'Employee of the Month' plaque and glazed ham. Wait a second . . . wait a second . . . Old Irma the Greeter, the kids working the mini Pizza Hut . . . the fat man himself, Les behind the video game counter . . . and they can all KISS . . . MY . . . ASS! *throws plaque on the sales floor* ^ This made me laugh.
