Heatwave 98 is one of my favorite pay per views of all time! Yeah, Heatwave '98 is widely regarded as one of the all-time greatest PPV's. Simply not a bad match on the card, everything clicked.

My fave PPV opening match is Blitzkrieg vs Juventud Guerrera from WCW Spring Stampede in 99.

Man I LOVED Doring and Roadkill as a team. Always hoped they'd get a run someplace else high-profile.

Isn't Roadkill still down in OVW under a different name?

Isn't Roadkill still down in OVW under a different name? Yep he is, it's Braddock, I believe...

That is how you get a crowd psyched for the rest of the PPV.

Yeah, this is from Heatwave 99...It even says 1999 on the ring (lower left corner). Heatwave 98 did have a great opener, in Jerry Lynn vs. Justin Credible. Heatwave 98 is my favorite PPV of all time. From top to bottom, its great. Look at the card:
Credible (w/ Jason, Nicole Bass, and Chastity) vs. Lynn Chris Candido (w/ Tammy) vs. Lance Storm Mike Awesome vs. Masato Tanaka (great match, Awesome takes the powerbomb over the top through the table on his head!) RVD & Sabu (Champs) vs. Hayabusa & Jinsei Shinzaki (Hakushi) Taz vs. Bam Bam Bigelow (rematch from Living Dangerously) Tommy Dreamer, Sandman & Spike Dudley vs. the Dudleys (Bubba, D-Von, and Big Dick) in a Street Fight with run-ins from Jack Victory and New Jack
If you haven't seen this PPV, FIND IT! It is excellent. Not one bad match.

Heatwave '98 was actually released as a Pioneer DVD before WWE shut them down. Try to find it if you can.
